Of all the depth that the Bulls possess, a facet of the team that's been stretched to the limit this season, one player on the roster who'd yet to really see significant time was Jimmy Butler. Yet in a national TV game in Madison Square Garden, the Bulls rookie played the entire fourth quarter and was able to literally match Carmelo Anthony. Ronnie Brewer was given most of the duty initially, but while Butler is less experienced, he is bigger and a better size matchup. And his expected initial wildness was tempered yet his fearlessness of the moment wasn't. You could even give Butler the scoring edge considering two of Melo's points were on a (strange) intentional foul when his team was down 4 with 6 seconds to go. Anthony did have the opportunity to tie the game later (after Derrick missing another 'clutch' free throw, but he made one! progress) but as is expected more often than not when you're a 40% shooter, he missed.
Butler's performance was merely part of a really fun capping quarter to a very entertaining game. Derrick Rose has looked sensational for five straight games now, with a 4th 30+ effort in that time, and the extra-special addition of 13 assists Thursday. The plight of the Knicks PG situation is well-known (a storyline second on the TNT broadcast maybe only to Rose's humility) but it's quite a feat of roster construction to not only have no true distributors at the position but no real reliable defensive option either. And Baron Davis won't fix the latter. Then again, it's not as if many in the league can even slow Rose the way he's playing now, making a case to where we can actually believe his toe isn't bothering him anymore.
Rose was the ultimate difference, as he was almost matched by Amare Stoudemire but just not quite. Following the common joke leading up to the game, the solution to Stoudemire's struggles was indeed Carlos Boozer. Amare was explosive with his face-up game, and really was active for rebounds and loose balls inside. And this was happening to Taj Gibson as well, so whereas some (most?) nights one can figure if neither is providing offense at least Taj give you defense, Thursday night was the opposite: neither showed much defensively, but at least Boozer was providing points. Boozer had one of his better games with 16 points on 7 shots, and he was the 4th quarter late substitution for once. This may just wind up being a platoon, a disappointment but a reality.
The Knicks were able to do their best when they forced Joakim Noah out of the game and the Bulls lost their best defender against small-ball. This was not the right matchup for Omer Asik (who's struggled in general lately) as he forced to check Stoudemire at times, and then the offense would just look sloppy when trying to force the size mismatch on the other end with he and Taj. That's partly due to CJ Watson not being a classic point guard himself, but that's something that Watson can more than makes up for with his scoring, and he had 12 huge points in the game. Kyle Korver was red-hot to start, and overall he and Landry Fields were more-or-less their own shootout ending in a draw, the same between Noah and (my former favorite Bull) Tyson Chandler, and looking at both teams in total they'd similarly alternate stretches of the game turning the ball over and the other would make a run.
The Bulls aren't going to be that great of a team (right now with the injuries and stuff), the defensive slippage without Deng is noticeable, and It is alarming that again the Bulls didn't have an offensive rebound advantage (32% to 27% in favor of the Knicks), something they've led the league in consistently under Thibodeau. But even without two of their starters, the Bulls are still very good. The renowned defensive issues of New York were a perfect remedy after seeing the intensity brought upon them by Philadelphia the night before. It was a game where Rose was able to attack with impunity, and the complementary options were able to get in rhythm themselves. As presently seen, both teams are likely quite even and a close win or a loss in this one would've told the same story.
But it feels good to have a nationally televised road win, and while they remain on the road the times should only get easier for the Bulls in the next week. Meanwhile they can try and get healthy (Deng may return Saturday) and keep developing the entire (non pseudo-coach division) roster for the playoffs. Or the trade deadline.

knicks: 102 not 92.

Knicks penalized 10 points at the end
for Spike Lee wearing Giants jersey and not a Knicks jersey.

BULLieving in Miami - February 3, 2012 via mobile
I know he's most likely not to win it this year
but once again Rose is the only player in top 10 in points and assists. that is NBA2K created player type production. seriously, what players have put up consecutive seasons finishing in the top 10 in both those categories? what’d he finish with last night, 32 & 13? beast! Lebron might put up close to a triple double just about any night, and I know he is not the PG, but how often is he putting up numbers like D-Rose’s last night?
BULLieving in Miami - February 3, 2012 via mobile
If u ask me he should get again
If the season continues the way it does the amount of offense he must create for not only himself but for his teammates also meanwhile Lebrick got wade even if hes not playing well u still gotta respect him and Raptor is putting up some decent numbers.
ChicagoStyle - February 3, 2012
Totally agree on what you said about the matchup being pretty even last night
I think people get a little too caught up in the “Knicks suck” thing. That was a good win on the road, against a team that is desperate right now. Even with basically no one resembling a point guard on their roster, they have too much front line talent to suck as bad as they’ve been. I wouldn’t be surprised if they got a little something going pretty soon.
Rose was awesome, but I was most impressed with Butler, he looks like he could be something. His defense has a chance to be special, and if he can hit some jumpers (threes would be especially awesome), that would open up his whole game. He’s shown that he likes to pump fake and drive, and he seems to find contact when he gets in there. Very encouraging.
Meanwhile, Ronnie Brewer has been a bit of a mess. It seems like for every good thing he does, he follows it up with something stupid, or a badly bricked jumper. I think the reserve role was a much better fit for him, and I wouldn’t mind seeing Thibs experiment with starting Jimmy there instead.
As yfbb said, the rebounding (and the defense) has to be a bit of a concern. Is it possible that Lu has that much of an effect? I don’t get it.
Lastly, Barkley and those guys giving Lebron shit about his headband was fucking hilarious.
Juiceboxjerry - February 3, 2012
Come on home, Lebron!
Brooklyn Bulls - February 3, 2012
i think ronnie's been struggling
starting next to korver… because he’s had some really difficult wing matchups recently. if he were starting next to deng he wouldn’t be overmatched by these big 3s (lebron, melo) that he just can’t guard an entire game. i think it’s exhausting him. and i don’t think jimmy would really do much better. i don’t think he’ll be able to hide korver anymore than brew can.
Jaina - February 3, 2012
Idk, Korver's looked pretty solid defensively to me
I mean, he’s not Igoudala out there, but he’s not getting us killed either
Juiceboxjerry - February 3, 2012
no, he's not
but brew’s still been getting the tougher wing job is all i was saying. but yeah i mean korver’s surprisingly been able to hold his own pretty well at times. including last night. but i think brew is getting exhausted doing this esp since he had a stretch of 4 games where he played 38 min or more. hope he can get back to form now that thibs has lowered his minutes again..
Jaina - February 3, 2012
Clearly the guy
is outmatched size and weight by most of these matchups but, hes played really well not on the offensive end but u can only ask some much out of the player whos trying to stop their best player it makes u repect Deng that much more with the way hes able to play both ends of the court.
ChicagoStyle - February 3, 2012
yeah that's what i'm sayin man
jbj was saying he’s a bit of a mess, and i was just saying he’s tasked with the toughest wing matchups for long stretches, and i think it’s taking all he’s got to do it.
Jaina - February 3, 2012
Korver's at his more natural position with Brewer in instead of Deng
he’ll still typically guard the lesser offensive player, but when that’s not clear he’s more at ease defending the bigger players than most twos.
your friendly BullsBlogger - February 3, 2012
I'm not sure if Melo was just sucking
but I swear he harassed him into a bad jumper or two in the 4th
SidM - February 3, 2012
Yeah, that possession in particular stood out
The thing with Korver is, he’s pretty sound when it comes to bodying guys up and not biting on pump fakes and stuff. And he plays within the system well in terms of being in the right spots. He struggles more when he has to guard quicker players (as opposed to bigger, more methodical guys, like yfbb said) and they come at him off the dribble
Juiceboxjerry - February 3, 2012
Melo is fat and slow
he has the biggest ring of neck fat i’ve seen on a SF in the NBA.
Basketball Smurf - February 3, 2012
wasn't shawn kemp a SF
obnoxious american - February 3, 2012
PF, I think.
dakoose - February 3, 2012
PF
..
ChicagoStyle - February 3, 2012
Ha, I thought he just had big bones
Melo does look fat, in a weird way.
kose773 - February 3, 2012
Big bones?
He’s not broad or anything, or particularly strong looking. He’s just a chubby NBA player.
dakoose - February 3, 2012
yes, it's obvious that he doesn't exactly hit the gym.
obnoxious american - February 3, 2012
Probably eats like shit too.
I can kind of understand not being a big, strong guy in the NBA; some guys just don’t like to hit the weights. But these guys play enough ball that they should at least be lean and in good conditioning just by virtue of the games, shoot-arounds, practices, etc. He probably eats like a pig.
dakoose - February 3, 2012
You see Boris Diaw lately?
That dude is a real fat-boy.
dakoose - February 3, 2012
true, he makes Melo look like a workout warrior
Basketball Smurf - February 3, 2012
Lol.
Diaw has been getting kinda juicy the last couple seasons, but after the lockout he looks like shit. He looks like that big hunk of fat hanging off of a piece of steak.
dakoose - February 3, 2012
Korver was shitty against Philly
But then Melo isnt THAT fast
T.Moore - February 3, 2012
No way
His help D is horrific. His weak side rebounding is pathetic. When he is helping some1 who is helping its a disgrace. Whistle, foul korver. Everytime
Chi's DaSecretMan - February 3, 2012 via mobile
That's ridiculous.
His defense is, at the very worst, acceptable. It’s not horrid, pathetic or any other descriptive you decide to throw at it. It’s not great, but it’s not bad either.
dakoose - February 3, 2012
no, it's pretty much awful
he’s way too grabby. He just makes you forget when the ball goes through the net on the other end.
your friendly BullsBlogger - February 3, 2012
but it's better than last year
right? At least it has that perception at the moment.
NormVanBeer - February 3, 2012
Even if he is grabby,
it doesn’t really get him in foul trouble and he gets away with it. I know he’s not a very good defender, but I don’t think he’s as bad as y’all make him out to be.
dakoose - February 4, 2012
No Korver's D wasn't acceptable
He sucks noodles on D, He and Booz should never start at the same time…
T.Moore - February 3, 2012
What's concerning about Brewer is his mental mistakes
He honestly made enough dumb decisions on the fastbreak against Miami that cost us that game. I like Ronine but we don’t have the room for error like he would if he was only playing with the bench mob.
Dils - February 3, 2012
The Knicks in fact do suck but with this crazy season teams can fluctuate pretty wildly.
Just look at the Bucks-Heat game this week.
Ozzie Montana - February 3, 2012
Well, I guess define "suck"
I don’t think they’re contenders or anything, but I do think they’ll make the playoffs
Juiceboxjerry - February 3, 2012
How do I count the ways
A losing record
Being 10th in the East
2-8 in their last 10
Negative point differential
The Knicks suck.
tuluse - February 3, 2012
did the knicks play their best ball last night
seemed like we went up against their A game, or maybe having a lineup of boozer and korver just makes it seem like the opposition is playing the best ball of their life
piccolomair - February 3, 2012
The Mike D'Antoni unemployment countdown has begun.......
Fukudometer - February 3, 2012
D'Antoni's system is amazing for ball movement and 3-point shooting
for the other team! hahahaha
Did anyone catch Kevin Harlan say that Thibs was the Bulls second choice after D’Antoni? Not true, VDN was the 2nd choice.
your friendly BullsBlogger - February 3, 2012
Couldn't remember
but yeah thats right mention something in this post about that same quote and thought i misremembered lol but yeah Thibs was 2yrs back and No-D was 4yrs ago right?
ChicagoStyle - February 3, 2012
maybe thibs was the second choice even back then
celts didn’t allow him to interview during the finals in 08, and i think the bulls didn’t want to wait.
Jaina - February 3, 2012
ok
makes sense i guess didn’t really know the guys name to much until a little b4 we were trying to sign him a couple years back so his name could’ve came up just wouldn’t have know.
ChicagoStyle - February 3, 2012
i was really only speculating
not sure if he really was the bulls #2 guy in 08 and couldn’t get him… but he could have been? i do know as i said that he wasn’t allowed to interview so the explanation seems reasonable enough.
Jaina - February 3, 2012
Also, Thibs was supposed to go to New Orleans originally.
The Bulls eventually hired the right guy but they were pretty awful at the whole process.
Ozzie Montana - February 3, 2012
The process is, itself, a process.
Hence: No Bulls fault.
jpx7 - February 3, 2012
Even funnier
D’Antoni had a chance to bring in Thibs in Phoenix but declined so Thibs ended up in Boston
Option27 - February 3, 2012 via mobile
I think it began a while ago.
jpx7 - February 3, 2012
While watching, it seemed like the Bulls were forcing the Knicks to take a lot of midrange Js and the Knicks were just hitting
at a good clip. But HoopData shows that to be wrong. Looks like the Bulls just won by shooting better than the Knicks and getting to the line more.
fundamentallysound - February 3, 2012
how many freethrows were shot in the last 30 seconds though
ThorCo - February 3, 2012
Clearly the knicks
dont have the ability to get to the basketball to the paint other than Melo who really seemed somewhat apprehensive towards the end after Noah and Taj’s blocks,
ChicagoStyle - February 3, 2012
Amare was getting to the hoop nearly at will
And they got Chandler for a few nice baskets.
Melo is a laser passer when he feels like it.
tuluse - February 3, 2012
Yeah there was a sequence where Tyson chandler slipped the pick and roll and Omer was so focused on helping on the drive
that Chandler got an easy lob from Melo for a dunk. When I saw that I wondered how the Bulls could possibly stop that play with the lineup they had out there at the time – Boozer was the guy who was supposed to help the helper, Asik, but well, you know . . .
fundamentallysound - February 3, 2012
Didnt see
what u said it just further emphazes what i was saying.
ChicagoStyle - February 3, 2012
Does Boozer even have a chance to stop an alley-oop without fouling?
I don’t see him jumping high enough to swat the ball away.
tuluse - February 3, 2012
maybe thats why
he stands so damn far away from the other teams 4… lol but sad face at the same time >_<
ChicagoStyle - February 3, 2012
He could draw the charge
At this point, I think Boozer needs to work on his flopping.
Poloplaya14 - February 3, 2012
ha, he has the yelling down
your friendly BullsBlogger - February 3, 2012
COME ON REF!!!! GIMME DAT AND-ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ON MY ASS HERE REF!!!
jpx7 - February 3, 2012
Yeah
but 4 amare that was more or less bc boozer for some odd reason would leave him a huge gaping lane to run right to multiple times booz was about 4 steps to the left and he just drove right by him really was pissing me off. and the only time chandler got to the basket was when Asik came in and just stared at Melo as Chandler ran by right to the hoop thats just bad awareness not really showing good postioning.
ChicagoStyle - February 3, 2012
I'm not sure what your point is
We both agree the Knicks were getting inside shots right?
tuluse - February 3, 2012
They were
i just don’t think had it been 4 a couple plays that they were getting consistency with it, meaning long term.
ChicagoStyle - February 3, 2012
Great game
Fun to watch but, one thing that popped up during the conversation was about how we offered No-D dantoni and all i could think of was thank god he wanted more money from the knicks bc we would have missed out on one of the best coaches in the league!!
BTW announcer were horrible Reggie miller is such a douche talk about an obsession with the knicks come on u know the bulls are just as good but get little mention about the bulls other than when rose forced them to talk about us!
ChicagoStyle - February 3, 2012
"Amare is much more effecitive when he plays better"
might be the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard
ThorCo - February 3, 2012
HAHA
one of the many “Gems” by the expert staff from TNT. to be honest i really liked reggie miller b4 now not some much still respect his game and career but as an announcer.
ChicagoStyle - February 3, 2012
I hate him
all of him
ThorCo - February 3, 2012
it was so ridiculous when he said he needed to be held back when he saw charles oakley
oak at 70 would still break reggies twig ass in half. guy is such a dipshit.
obnoxious american - February 3, 2012
I think he was
trying to be sarcastic, no? My sister could break Reggie’s ass in half, although I bet he could hold his own in an ear fight. (Like thumb wrestling, but louder).
Cannoli - February 3, 2012
some things are too stupid to joke about.
obnoxious american - February 3, 2012
I can not remember where I was reading it but
on that foul, it was stated that there was a miscommunication; the players were only suppose to foul if the lead had been 3. Taj made the 2nd free throw to put the lead to 4, so that was a mistake by Ronnie there.
chicity773 - February 3, 2012
Thibs said it postgame.

i knew that was a mistake
my brother (and reggie miller) were trying to tell me it was part of the plan, and i was like…..that makes no sense to me
piccolomair - February 3, 2012
I was yelling at the TV.
It made no sense what-so-ever, and even worse stupid announcers were playing it off like it was a smart foul.
Dionysus2.0 - February 3, 2012
I lost my shit on that one.
Hopefully it was just miscommunication.
bleigh82 - February 3, 2012
korver and boozer shouldnt start together
knicks isolated the two to one side and then made that side their strong side, it was gruesome to watch. Brewer might not be able to guard good ball handling sfs, butler is a wiley defender but he plays scared on offnese and seemed to get lost a couple of times in the plays. Im now off the “boozer is okay if hes hitting shots” camp, god he made me so mad last night….amnesty him first chance you get.
piccolomair - February 3, 2012
This game sold me on the idea that thibs is using these games as practice…I can see butler and taj gettin more playoff minutes over booz and korver just cuz of defense and chemistry
Belize - February 3, 2012 via mobile
Wednesday's practice sucked.

it’s a bit clunky, I edited it to make it obvious.

jpx7 - February 3, 2012
I know it's fun to laugh at the Knicks and make fun of Melo,
but come on:
You’re technically right, as he is shooting 40.3 percent this season, but he’s much better than that and hasn’t been this inefficient in ages. He’s a lifetime 46% shooter, which is pretty decent. And for what it’s worth, Rose is at 47 for his career. Melo’s still a really, really good scorer. He was able to knock down some pretty difficult and timely shots last night.
With regards to the Boozington, to steal a line from Greg Anthony, he’s like Chicken Soup for struggling players. Any time a 4 on a bad streak has a game against Chicago, Booz is the cure to their ailments.
dakoose - February 3, 2012
Boozer is a fuckn chicken in any soup.
if you’re as massive as he is, you bully your way to the rim every chance you get the ball. He seems to be scared as hell to get injured again. Those gym bags must have given him a lot of bad nightmares.
kose773 - February 3, 2012
LOLOLOLOL
obnoxious american - February 3, 2012
Massive?
But he lost so much weight!
Option27 - February 3, 2012 via mobile
Funny
Melo looked a bit fatter than him
T.Moore - February 3, 2012
I don't think he meant fat, as Booz is clearly not fat.
Boozy is a broad, strong guy and more often than not should be able to push around the weak 4’s you have in this league.
dakoose - February 3, 2012
it was mostly to make fun of Melo
your friendly BullsBlogger - February 3, 2012
I know Rose was awesome again
But my game ball goes to the Jimmeh!
T.Moore - February 3, 2012
1st time poster !
Whats up every1,
My name is Billy and im HUGEEEEEEE chicago sports fan, which of course consists of our BULLS! Ive been reading this blog for 2 years now and have never really had the interest to post or create an account…….Until last night after our loss to the 76ers. LETS JUST SAY I WAS PISSED. As a lot of you know I wasnt able to post right away, had to wait a full 24 hours until last night, and than when I tried to post the site was down so here I am today. With all that said and my introduction, I wanted to chime in on some of yalls favorite topics.
Lets first just dip into the whole boozer talk. THE GUY IS A BUM. doesnt matter if he made a 100 million dollars a year, or the minimum wage in america. THE GUY IS A BUM. He is half the player he once was. cant jump, cant finish around the rim, has no low post moves accept a low percentage fade away, Cant go up strong, and has an average shot, lets not forgot he is a complete bum on defense. Now the argument is would we value him if he wasnt getting payed so much, THE ANSWER IS NO. The things he brings to this team are, Great rebounding, and ummmm idk, i guess being a good teammate. Like I tell all my other bull fans, especially my dad, he only has that jumpshot going 1 out of 4 games, and that doesnt mean every 4th game he will be hot, just means 25% of the time he has that jumper going throughout the season. Boozer is easily replaceable and we could find a ton of PFS to bring what he brings to this team. I HATEEEEEEEE BOOZER!
Ok now ill move into the rather popular subject of butler. I personally dont want to see him out there. hes a developing rookie who should sit on the bench and develop. All you guys that wanna see him get on the floor and get experience, i couldnt disagree more. The guy played good d tonight, illl give him that. He even looked good at the free throw line. Made 1 good jumper down the stretch. BUT FOR THE MOST PART IN THE 4th HE LOOKED SCARED SHITLESS. There were 4-5 spots in the 4th if deng was out there it woulda been an easy bucket. He was scared to shoot and didnt have any confidence on the offensive end……..
That brings me to the most important topic and why no1 should worry…. DENG. The most valuable player on this team other than drose. the guy is the anchor of our defense. as we have all seen, our defense looks like trash out there without him. Not only is he a great team defender, but our best 1 on 1 defender taking on all these gay ass good offensive SFs in the nba. We our a barely above average team without Deng AND WE NEED HIM BACK BAD. He knocks down the open jumper, plays 44 mins a game, slashes to the rim off picks aggressively with beautiful finger rolls, and I can picture the times he misses he seems to always get his own rebound and put back. Our offensive rebounding is not nearly as good with out Deng in general. Were also missing rebounds on the defense end where korver and brewer cant box these guys out. DENG IS THE DO EVERYTHING PLAYER ON THIS TEAM AND WE CANNOT REPLACE HIM. I know all of you guys value and appreciate him so im not trying to preach that. Im just saying and reminding all of you guys, dont pay too much attention to these last 8 games. were not the same team. Hopefully Deng can play at least 80% the rest of the year when he comes back. If not dont look forward to winning this year because its not going to happen.
That brings me to DHOWARD. I dont want him. Not gonna get into too much cuz my post is already too long. But if you read the last subject you will see my number 1 reason y i dont want him. I DONT WANNA LOSE DENG. The problem with this team is not our SG, its not our Center, the problem is CARLOS BOOZER. I can name 13 PFs in the NBA that if we had we would have won last years NBA championship and this years. Gibson needs to keep practicing that jump shot and work on his decision making and he can be that guy i think. Howard will ruin the chemistry on this team and break up a good friendship between rose, deng, and noah. Even thou howard is the best defender in the nba our team defense would go to the trash. No more deng who is our anchor, We will have boozer out there with no good back up defender like gibson. We will have the worst player in the nba hedo at our SF. its just not a good look. I can see it working a few years from now after some adjusting to the roster. but I LOVE THIS TEAM AND WANNA DUKE IT OUT WITH THEM FOR THE NEXT FEW YEARS. FUCK HOWARD!!!!!!!
O ya, KORVER IS WORTHLESS. Another complete bum. HATE HIM TOO. more worthless than boozer. I joked with friends last night if he missed those two free throws at the end of the game if i was the GM i would cut him because thats all he really is good for. The guy is HORRIBLE on defense, fouls everyone down low on the help- but doesnt foul them hard to stop them from scoring And1. HE DOES THAT EVERY TIME. Unless he is on fire the guy is absolutely worthless. And like boozer it only seems hes really hot 1 out of 4 games. and even if he is hot we cant play him in the 4th against good teams cuz hes such a liability. at least last year he made some big shots for us in the 4th. i dont see that happening this year or anymore. We need Deng back so he can go back to his 10-15 min role.
heres a subject you guys were on for a week. Ill make this 1 short. watson> JL3. Omg you guys were idiots who said other wise. we our lucky to have watson as a back up.
Rip will make a difference for this team in the playoffs. He really can be the guy who takes us over the top, over the heat. But we really dont need him against the better teams during the season, therefore he needs to sit on the bench untill he is 100% healthy because i have to admit, he is on my last damn nerve with these injuries. All of us just wanna see him out there, cuz hes knew and exciting. the same reason why you guys wanna see butler. The bottom line is WE NEED DENG OUT THERE ASAP. We dont need RIP out there now. GET HEALTHY BUDDY AND HELP US WHEN ITS IMPORTANT.
Lastly NOAH. two weeks ago if I decided to post I would have had a lot to say about this subject. But the guy is playing better and im happy. Therefore ill just say keep it big boy. on the other hand ASIK is playing about half as good as he did last year in the playoffs on the defensive end. His help D is down tremendously. I play that on Thibs, hes gotta get on him about this cuz asik has been kinda worthless out there lateley, we all know he cant play on the other end of the board besides getting rebounds and hustle.
Alright that will do it for me guys. got a lot off my chest. Ill be sure to contribute to yalls conversations here and there down the stretch.
Chi's DaSecretMan - February 3, 2012

This felt too much like homework
But welcome.
Dils - February 3, 2012
I only have a problem with your misuse of the the words 'hate' and 'huge'
You’re not a HUGEEEEEE fan, you’re a HUUUUUUUUUGE fan.
You don’t HATEEEEEEEEE, you HAAAAAAAAAAAATE.
Savvy?
Dr. Handsome, D.D.S. - February 3, 2012
Or if you're Al Michaels
You’re a EEEEEEUUUUUUUGE fan

Option27 - February 3, 2012 via mobile
I think you're a little harsh on Korver
The guy is supposed to be our 4th wing, we’re not really counting on him do anything but score a little and provide spacing.
tuluse - February 3, 2012

piccolomair - February 3, 2012

chicity773 - February 3, 2012

Welcome to the club!
You will fit right in with me, and, well… me.
wrigleyrocker12 - February 3, 2012
I'd rather lose Deng for Howard
Are you serious? So you’re fine with the possibility of obtaining a championship through defense and gritty play rather than the actuality of bitch-slapping every team in the league towards a championship? Give me the latter. DRose throwing alley-oops to Howard all night long with the propability of either an and-1 or a dunk…. I mean, what defense can stop that?
kose773 - February 3, 2012
Exactly
And the question arises how long can rose carry the team, will Deng and Noah stay healthy, and will booz or anyone else become that go-to guy(Not that Howard is gonna take alot off rose). But the concept of rose running down to get doubled by the D only to turn and alley-op to Howard for a monster dunk sounds awesome!!
ChicagoStyle - February 3, 2012
shouldabeenafanpost
I mean, probably, I didn’t actually read it
JustAnotherFan - February 3, 2012
Lmao
Naw, that will be my only long post. That was this whole year building up wanting to say something. Sorry about how long it was, and the errors, grammer and such.

ThorCo - February 3, 2012
Very cute
And your a pussy- not being sarcastic….everything in my long ass post made perfect logical sense. Especially on a topic like the bulls which I know plenty about. As far as writing and grammar. Ehhh im a finance major. Not a great writer and I apologize for that. Also won’t be any more novels for me so fuck off guys that are talking shit lolol

ThorCo - February 3, 2012
Oh and juicebox
Almost forgot about the subject of our crowd. Not gonna make this long. I agree with you 100%. Don’t care if it’s bow the building is designed and comes accross on the tube. Our crowd pisses me of too. Especially last years playoffs. Watching the Memphis and OK games than watching our games. It was night and day. Get loud guys!!!
Chi's DaSecretMan - February 3, 2012 via mobile
Thanks, but agreeing with me is probably not the best way to make friends around here
(although agreeing with Sin is much worse)
Juiceboxjerry - February 3, 2012
Not trying to make friends
This isn’t highschool. We should be on the same team anyway! TEAM BULLS BITCH!
Chi's DaSecretMan - February 3, 2012 via mobile
I have no context but if you were praising the MSG crowd I will cut your face.
Ozzie Montana - February 3, 2012
no mention
of how the NY crowd was basically silent 4 long periods of time, although i agree 4 the most part our crowd should remember how the BR period(Before Rose lol) and how horrible it was >_>
ChicagoStyle - February 3, 2012
Somewhere, Ben Gordon weeps while lacing his tiny shoes.
Dionysus2.0 - February 3, 2012
Also dont know if anyone saw
But Jerry West thinks that teams should call the superstars “Bluffs” over trade demands. Easy coming from the guy who benefits from all the smaller teams and rips them out of deals for scrubs.
ChicagoStyle - February 3, 2012
Marc Gasol isn’t a scrub…in hindsight that deal wasn’t that bad.
C Smoove - February 3, 2012
yes not bad but not near the talent his bro was
A 7footer with finesse skill and an outside jumper doesn’t happen very often..
ChicagoStyle - February 3, 2012
i would say marc gasol is a better defender than his brother
hes a damn good shot blocker.
Geo4MVP - February 3, 2012
Pau is a better player but Marc is better in a lot of ways. You’d rather a 7 footer be more rugged like Marc than finesse like Pau. If Pau is a B+ player, than Marc is a B player. That trade wasn’t that bad, you will never get exact equal value for a star player
