I don’t think I’ve seen a point guard like Lucas who is a ball stopper at half court. Just watching the offense right now – CJ dribbles around, under the hoop, 14 seconds of dribbling, and we get bailed out on a foul. This is not good offense.

The issue is that the Bulls backup PGs are not close to Derrick’s level, so when they are facing a quality team they look very pedestrian and Thibs hasn’t designed an offense to make up for their deficiencies.

i think the biggest thing is

rose is the only one who ups his game in the limelight. He seems to play better in marquee situations and matchups. Guys like deng/cj i think its a big thing for them to be playing as focal points in such big games, lots of pressure, and they really dont know how to react for it, especially since boston came out early and kicked us in the teeth. Rose and noah are the only two players on this team that sort of relish the big moments…
