but he’s gotta have more than 13 FGA right now. He’s taken 5 shots since the first quarter and thats inexcusable. He needs to at least try and take over.
He’s penetrating to the lane multiple times now and has created open shots for guys every single time. They’re just not hitting them. He can’t keep jacking up shots while being double and triple teamed.
Two games against quick athletic teams so close together (Miami and Philly tonight) really exposes the fact that the Bulls have no athletes outside of Rose.
They collectively play like everyone is 5 years older than they really are.
I noticed that last year, quickness is our weakness, thats why we struggled against the heat in the playoffs with their quick starting line-up, we struggle against the sixers and warriors. we struggled against the knicks as well when they had that small line-up with amare at center before carmelo got there.
I’m not excusing him, just providing some context. The point made by dakoose was that Rose’s 1 point in the quarter is “the game right there.” The score says the Bulls are down 20 points.
Unless we expect Rose to drop 20 in the 3rd while being double and triple teamed, I don’t think his 1 point is the difference in the game.
Open 3 missed by our best shooter, offensive rebound being battled by 2 of OUR players, only to give the D enought time to recover and block the shot and, of course, recovering the posession.
They just have so man guys that fly around defensively
You have to be able to pass the ball, and go to the basket because they have no shot blockers. If you just move the ball around the perimeter, you’re playing into their hands
you just have to accept the fact that a.) year 2 and b.) compressed 66 game schedule, this so called hard working, never die, never quit team is just going to mail it in some nights this year, something we would have never thought possible last year.
ronnie brewer is the epitome of this. last 3 games i have seen at least 2-3 plays per game where he doesnt hustle back on D. Thibs needs to realize that he is not Deng and can’t survive 40+ minutes a night
I have confidence in Thibs that they'll figure out a way to crack this team
We’re more talented, and talent wins out. I think Rip will help a bit too, because he can post up some of their guys, and open things up with his movement
idk but seems liek you forgot what rip before he got injured again
the offense was crisp and smooth. It makes a big difference having two starters that have no business starting. Its something thats out of thibs hands.
I disagree New England lost half their defense and they play in the super bowl this weekend……why great coach and yes great QB and we have Rose similar to a QB
they didn't look that much better last year (or in the preseason)
I showed you before. Granger never had a game as good as that with Deng on the floor (from 2007 forward) and I bet Iggy never had it too (gonna check tomorrow)
Soriano: While Rip Hamilton and Ronnie Brewer give the Bulls a serviceable shooting guard rotation, getting them a more versatile player to fill that spot would give them that extra boost in getting to the Finals. Meanwhile, O.J. Mayo is on the trade block and could give the Bulls that secondary shot creator and scorer who can complement Rose and a healthy Luol Deng. Here’s the trade.
Wallace: When you’re in first place in your conference, it’s hard to accept that you need anything to put you over the top. But if those painful losses to the Heat show the Bulls anything, it’s that they need another reliable scorer to complement Rose. Why not call Houston and check on Kevin Martin’s availability? If I’m the Bulls, I’d pitch Boozer but realize it might cost Joakim Noah. Chicago just won’t beat the Heat in a seven-game series as is.
the bulls were horrible tonight. but i can’t stand it when people don’t root for our guys
even if the bulls were to win by getting dwight howard, how could you feel good about it? like they had accomplished something instead of buying something? what makes us different from miami then? screw dwight howard with his superman cape
for Bill Cartwright for Oakley and people said the same thing…then won 3 titles and poof, everyone forgets…This is the NBA, not the NFL, you build through drafts, trades and free agency
But to be fair, I don’r remember any Bulls game in which there were so many dumb mistakes and the other team caught so many breaks…lead cut to 12, we decided to pressure the PG, easy layup…again, cut to 12, they trapped our PG and have an easy layup on the fastbreak…good D for 23 defense, ball scrambles and a 76er ends up with the ball under the hoop…WTF!!!
Any team with athletes is going to be very difficult for us to beat. We have one..count it ONE.. player on this team who can create his own shot.
Deng as good as he is, is not a star player- he is a great third option currently trying to play the role of a second option.
We need to take this rare chance to acquire another superstar and trade the FARM for Dwight Howard. Everything else is a losing formula.
Philly is a team that is being underrated because of their easy schedule, they saw an opportunity to prove how good they are against a top team at their home. They just were more motivated and had more energy tonight.
For any of us (myself included) that were under the illusion that this team was the hardest working team in the NBA. We just got introduced to the team that arguably takes that title.
Anyway, what I posted in the game thread:
It seems pretty clear to me that the Bulls aren’t going to show the same “never say die, never quit” effort they showed all the time last year. The GS game was the first sign that this team was actually capable of mailing it in, the second ATL game was a disturbing follow up, and I know Deng is injured, but some of what I saw tonight I never ever thought I’d see from this team, ever.
If this team doesn’t hustle and put in effort, they don’t have enough raw talent to be an upper echelon team in the NBA. The Heat can mail it in and still win games. We don’t have that luxury.
Additional comments:
If this team has it in them to be lazy and not show effort like they did tonight, then it makes me think that there will come a point where they could potentially tune out Thibodeau. And quite frankly, that scares the **** out of me.
For the first time in almost a year I’m having buyer’s remorse on this team. And I think it goes beyond missing Deng. This is the 3rd or 4th time this season we have mailed it in to a good (or even bad) team.
The only excuse I can think of is that this is due to the shortened season. I pray that’s all it is, but if not…wow.
i know what a coach can do and not do for a team. Look what happened to the wizards…they had a good coach and yet they sucked balls? why? because he can only have enough impact on a team. Thibs can only do so much with brewer limited scoring abilities and a super one dimensional player like korver,
Form the start of the game there seemed to be no plan on how to attack the 76’s………just let the defense turn into offense seemed to be the plan. You cannot go against Doug Collins with that sort of plan. At least to me the players did not buy into Thibs plan, that is just me ……….great coaches devise a scheme to beat other good or great coaches. And yes Thbs was out coach last year in the ECF.
in order for the scheme to work, you need certain players that consist of certain skillset. The bulls at thid point DONT! If you dare tell me Brewer and Korver should be enough, then you are clearly delusional.
Great coaches can only do so much. What happened to jackson and pops team says NOTHING bad about their coaching. Why did the spurs lose and why did the lakers lose? simple…the scheme is not enough to beat teams if you have players who have a limit skill set. Bulls had mutliple injuries including rose and booz. We lacked a true SG and we got exposed. What can thibs do exactly to coutner that? NOTHING. You have nobody on the bench that can play score and play alongside Rose. Brewer and Bogans does not cut it…in roder for a coach to do great things with the team, he needs the right weapons to succeed. If you were to tell me Phil Jackson would have lead the lakers to multiple titles without pau gasol, you are delusional. Same goes for the mavs of last yr. They had the right set of players that had the appropriate skills where his schema would work. For example, Jason terry…if he waso ut for that series, heat would have swept the mavs asses.
Bottom lineL thibs is not a miracle worker. Every great coach needs not only good players, but the right players to help his schema. Thibs tonight just didnt have anyone to answer philly defense.
I’m worried because this team is clearly limited
and this limit will be a problem if we want to beat Miami.
That said I say a healthy Bulls beat Philly like they did Indiana last season
I guess I'm not emotionally invested in the Bulls anymore
After last year, the regular season really doesn’t mean much to me, they’re still one of the top teams, and I just hope come playoff time, everyone’s healthy and they’re playing like a championship team.
There’s really not much excitement left. This is basically the team, and we have to hope they’re good enough. The only real mystery is seeding, and who gives a shit
I'm saying a lot of the "same issues" that RogersPark Kris was referring to
could be caused by missing certain players and playing an elite defensive team. I’m not saying we don’t have the problems offensively, but we were the best offensive team in the league at one point when the team was damn-near healthy.
Well, if you're just looking for the team to improve, I'm behind that
it’s just this apocalyptic talk about us not being able to to make the ECF and that we DEFINITELY won’t beat the Heat based off of this one game that’s annoying.
at some point we need to develop a better offensive strategy than riding Derrick Rose to victory like… ahem, getting boozer’s ass in the post and shooting something other than a 20 ft fadeaway
after this road trip our schedule gets a lot better… we’ll have played 2/3 road games, which means only 1/3 of the second half is road games. if we can stay afloat i’d think we’ll be able to make a good run and hopefully have our guys back in the lineup.
but i would give it another couple more games before we can say what the bulsl can do against teams who match our defensive effort. Lets wait till weget back deng at least.
There's something to be said about losing this badly
But, I think the Bulls clearly mailed it in, and in a shortened season, that’s not the worst thing in the world. The injuries are certainly part of it, but that’s not an excuse for this kind of showing. It was a lack of effort, plain and simple. But, the Bulls will make the playoffs, and need to get healthy, so I don’t have much of an issue with some defeats (no matter how humiliating). Even great teams lose big sometimes.
The bigger issue is that the Sixers are a scary team that could give the Bulls fits in the playoffs. Hopefully we’ll be healthy and ready to defend against Iguodala ripping us apart, but the Sixers are LEGIT and frightening. Good luck to whoever has to deal with that.
miami? they had a full roster…memphis on the other hand are struggling with randolph out. the bulls have been winning alot with injuries and i honestly think its absurd to think we’ll win games with our MIP and only legit scoring SG out.
“honestly if the bench group had gotten us back in the game i would have kept the starters on the bench because the bench players were the ones who got us in there”
but otherwise his comments praising the sixers nonstop and hardly talking about what the bulls did wrong is very scary. i’ve never seen/heard this from thibs before.
Yeah I find it unlikely too, but it's not the worst idea
use him much in the same way that he used Bogans. And if he sucks, you pull him like he pulled Bpgans. And guys like Ronnie and CJ can stay in the roes they’re comfortable in
I mean, why not? Obviously, Thibs would need to sub Rose/Cj wisely, since Lucas being the back up point is far from an acceptable option, but I think it’s worth a try.
just that with guys like Granger putting up 40 on the Woves tonight, and Igoudala clowning the team with the best record, there’s just no way in hell Luol’s :Glue" game is making that team.
it was really just a thought going the other way. being out obviously doesn’t help someone’s cause… even though it’s obvious how valuable he is to the bulls.
oh and i forgot to comment on what annoyed me endlessly
i guess in philly they have the same douchey promotion about the big macs. at the end when they were at 98 and we had the ball malik rose was all, oh philly will get another shot… and then said, once they had the ball “somebody foul!” like even if he was joking, it was totally retarded. the guy was so annoying and then had the nerve to say that shit it was just absolutely ridiculous.
When did he become this tough guy, shit talker? If all these other East teams keep turning into clowns, I might have to root for the Heat (but not really)
…is the NBA trading deadline. Sure will be interesting to see what happens. I honestly think the Bulls really need to make some changes. As currently constructed I still feel we fall just short. We need a big splash.
not really a big splash but more like an addition of a guy who can score from the bench
i think this team needs a 6th man. Sure, we all want howard, but im being realistic…i think this team can def acquire a solid scorer by the trading deadline.
How do you guys feel about the dual point guard thing?
Like Denver runs. Once the ball is taken out of Derricks hands everything stops. No one else can really safely handle the ball. How about a real facilitator that isn’t crippled like Rip.
JK. I didn’t get to watch the game. Buy after reading the posts it sounded like the whole team was lethargic. Just need someone else that can dribble and work with Derrick back and forth when he is doubled. I don’t know, the games where Rip was healthy and played well I thought he may have been enough. He was able to run the break along with Rose and also distribute to others. But I don’t see him staying in much of this year.
they are absolutely vital to the bulls success this yr. Rip can play but again, we need him healthy and thanksfully the bulls will rest him till the all star break. If we can get rose, rip, and deng combo set, I dont think lebron can afford to guard rose.
as he’s proven he can block Wade’s shots and frustrate him beyond belief. If major offense is needed put Luol at the 4 and put Cj in at the 2. There’s ways to get past it.
if thats true, damn, that would be a steal. Beasley can score and cna def help rose in crunch time. The prob is having gibson and booz at pf. Out frontcourt would be overcrowded and we would most likely have to give up gibson in order to make room for beasley.
yeah they were trying to avoid problems with their own front court overcrowding
I don’t hate Booze but it sucks that he kills our flexibility so much. I’d much rather have Beasley play the 4 and have cap space then being locked with Booze for 3 more years.
he just has a small nagging injury. It’s more annoying than worrisome, he should be good to go in the playoffs.
Something people don’t give him credit for is being a legit starter for an nba championship team. Come playoff time Rip isn’t going to be afraid like Rose’s supporting cast last year.
unless we get someone other than derrick that can create off the dribble. I don’t care if he’s a starting 2 or backup 2/3. I just want someone that can provide some spark offensively and actually knows how to dribble and dunk
Only thing that sucks about this loss is that this is the third time we've lost to them in a row
They appear to have our number. Compound that with the fact that we’ve lost to Miami and Indiana in the past week, and yeah, things could be better. otherwise I agree, no biggie
He has been tearing it up over there. Checked your link. He was 14-18 from 3 tonight. And he had another game last month with 43 points.
Man, two scoring threats to go with our D and rebounding? Wow.
What would it take to get JR?
hes in china right now and he has expressed interest playing for the bulls before
however, how much $$$ will he demand? Will GarPax go the trade route or wait till Smith returns? At this pt dude, we cant asnwer none of these questions nor speculate.
multiple times on twitter he kept mentioning he would love to play for chicago. shit he even dyed his hair RED for fucks sake. we need our very own james harden, louis williams, mo williams, etc. and JR looks perfect for that role
One time, reggie evans inbounded to Billups with about 7 seconds left.....
You know how they roll the ball to conserve time, well, evans just dropped the ball it rolled about 12 inches, and i swear, Billups looked at him and said, “what the fuck, dude”
Had to wait until the KU game was over to post my thoughts.
I’ll still continue to harp that I don;t want D12 and that Boozer is good. Honestly, this game changes nothing. They played like crap, sure, but they were also on the road against a very good team, with arguably their second and third best offensive players. Besides, the Heat just lost to a shit team at full health. Everyone needs to calm down.
i hear ya man, but i think alot of the fans here wanted the bulsl to beat a good team like philly
but i think people are forgetting or dont want to use the excuse that the bulsl have crucial injuries. I hope Deng is painfree tomorrow (known on wood) and hopefully that wrist doesnt bother him for the whole season (knock on wood)
stacey ripping boozer
good stuff

JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
What happened to our defensive rebounding?
Shit.
FilthyRich - February 1, 2012
Dwight Howard wouldn't have allowed that.
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
this
MCREW - February 1, 2012
wtf Rose is doing?
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
If I was Derrick I would just go sit down
Not one teammate can do shit
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
neither can Derrick
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
And why is that?
Think about it… a little bit
bryield - February 1, 2012
because he is passing the ball from the circle instead of trying to penetrate?
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
Huh?
He’s penetrating to the lane multiple times now and has created open shots for guys every single time. They’re just not hitting them. He can’t keep jacking up shots while being double and triple teamed.
bryield - February 1, 2012
that's the difference between rose and howard
Osaka - February 1, 2012
Two games against quick athletic teams so close together (Miami and Philly tonight) really exposes the fact that the Bulls have no athletes outside of Rose.
They collectively play like everyone is 5 years older than they really are.
berzerkulous - February 1, 2012
I should add that I mean quick athletic defenses
berzerkulous - February 1, 2012
agree
I noticed that last year, quickness is our weakness, thats why we struggled against the heat in the playoffs with their quick starting line-up, we struggle against the sixers and warriors. we struggled against the knicks as well when they had that small line-up with amare at center before carmelo got there.
Slick Ric - February 1, 2012
Offensive rebound sighting
Big illinoize - February 1, 2012
Not a travel there
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
we're getting killed by some random dude named Lavoy
trig - February 1, 2012

You Must Be Joakim - February 1, 2012
This is embarassing.
dakoose - February 1, 2012
I wake up and see the Bulls start shitting on the floor.
What the hell is this shit.
cowraiser - February 1, 2012
Put in Jimmy, Lucas, Scal, all the baddies for the rest of the game.
Time to go straight Popovich in this motherfucker.
Protocol - February 1, 2012
Shoot the ball u fucken chipmunk
Trey23 - February 1, 2012
Philly playing a perfect game
Like we used to
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
Trade for Dwight
play Omer at the 4.. someone comes in the lane, they get their face broken. No more of this soft garbage.
NerdVernacular - February 1, 2012
I'm down
SAVE FERRIS - February 1, 2012
rose needs to pull a dwight
and call these idiots out.
anorexorcist - February 1, 2012
Do we ever hit open shots??
SAVE FERRIS - February 1, 2012
when can we start banning these people who say
dwight howard every time the bulls give up a shot
Osaka - February 1, 2012
I don't fit in that category.
I just think Rose’s supporting cast is over rated. He doesn’t have as much help as people may think.
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
humiliating
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
Fuck this effort...you'd think matching up with the #3 team in the Eastern Conference would fire someone up
Brigade17 - February 1, 2012
76ers are playing better than Miami, tfs
Osaka - February 1, 2012
Fuck it. Get Dwight at all costs.
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
thats probably game
anorexorcist - February 1, 2012
Cj says otherwise
Trey23 - February 1, 2012
8 points this quarter.
This is just disgusting.
dakoose - February 1, 2012
Cj should be in sooner
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
sickening
a 30 foot 3 is the only offense we can get.

trig - February 1, 2012

JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
we have a game tomorrow...
Osaka - February 1, 2012
so what? They are tired? It's not like they are spending a lot of energy out there
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
Another loss to a playoff team and then beat a team like the Wizards is no good
MCREW - February 1, 2012
knicks are not the wizards. we could lose tomorrow
Osaka - February 1, 2012

anorexorcist - February 1, 2012

Osaka - February 1, 2012
both of them?
Big illinoize - February 1, 2012
yes
we play the knicks tomorrow. thibs will rest our guys
anorexorcist - February 1, 2012

the one they won, they get a free pass because they won
Osaka - February 1, 2012

6ers head and shoulders better than Atlanta
KCinIL - February 1, 2012
No way
We were healthy that game but Rip I think
KCinIL - February 1, 2012
Bulls look disgusting.
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
wow…
k21c - February 1, 2012
I think Rose has 1 point this quarter.
That’s the game right there.
dakoose - February 1, 2012
Because Philly didn't change how they played/trapped him at all.
I’m sure that has nothing to do with anything.
bryield - February 1, 2012
There's absolutely no excuse for him to have one point in a quarter.
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
Ok...
I’m not excusing him, just providing some context. The point made by dakoose was that Rose’s 1 point in the quarter is “the game right there.” The score says the Bulls are down 20 points.
Unless we expect Rose to drop 20 in the 3rd while being double and triple teamed, I don’t think his 1 point is the difference in the game.
bryield - February 1, 2012
His point was Rose being unable to score
encapsulates the game for us. Not that he expects Rose to single-handedly bring us back.
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
Really?
Re: the latter, that’s not what I’ve taken from his comments at all. But I’m sure you’re right…
bryield - February 1, 2012
Doesn't matter.
A guy that wants to be the best player in the world can’t allow himself to get shut down so easily.

right now they are barely up there in the 2nd tier of the east. the honeymoon is over
anorexorcist - February 1, 2012
losing to Miami, Indiana, Atlanta and now Philly is no coincidence
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012

Chanel#1_Rose - February 1, 2012
This is our reality guys.. we are a one man team
This roster lacks overall talent.

poker_punker - February 1, 2012
Can't stand listening to the Sixers announcers,
but that’s only cause they’re making everything, and we’re not.
cowraiser - February 1, 2012
If they have scoring problems against the Knicks tomorrow
then they seriously need to reevaluate their offense (ie – stop giving the ball to Boozer when he isn’t hitting his rainbows)
NerdVernacular - February 1, 2012
they need to stop the pick and roll completely
all it does is trap rose, every single time
anorexorcist - February 1, 2012
This is true
It’s sad that I’ve missed Vinny’s ISO’s at points this season. That’s scary. But it’s really only because everyone else isn’t doing their jobs.

dsenchi - February 1, 2012
For the Boozer fans….
Quote stats and per all day………but he has not pass the simple eye test since he has been on this team. He is 12.5 mil of wasted money.
bluezman7 - February 1, 2012
so how do you like Taj travels?
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
I Taj much better at the price, than a over priced bum.
At least he plays harder than Bozo.
bluezman7 - February 1, 2012
so what
you want him to play because he is cheaper? that makes no sense
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
No i want Boozer off this team he sucks.
bluezman7 - February 1, 2012
it's pointless to get him off if you don't get anyone better in return
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
My dead grandmother is better than him……….he sucks against teams that have any length.
bluezman7 - February 1, 2012
well bring her in then
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012

bluezman7 - February 1, 2012

berzerkulous - February 1, 2012
All bench? did we give up?
if so, that’s disgusting
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
we have the knicks tomorrow
no point in bothering
anorexorcist - February 1, 2012
I disagree
I think there is point in bothering
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
Then there will be more bitching
about Rose playing too much again….
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
I think Rose more than anyone should be pissed that Iggy is humiliating them like that
unless his toe is hurt I expect to see him there
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
Bulls starters came out with no energy.
All of the starters should be ashamed of themselves.
dakoose - February 1, 2012
Imo
The whole team should be
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
We're like the Colts.
Derrick is our Peyton Manning.
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012

Luol is the Manning of our defense
Rose1 - February 1, 2012

Trey23 - February 1, 2012
That played defined the game
Open 3 missed by our best shooter, offensive rebound being battled by 2 of OUR players, only to give the D enought time to recover and block the shot and, of course, recovering the posession.
UNBELIVEABLE.

He was inside the line.
dakoose - February 1, 2012
trade all those fuckers for dwight
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
They just have so man guys that fly around defensively
You have to be able to pass the ball, and go to the basket because they have no shot blockers. If you just move the ball around the perimeter, you’re playing into their hands
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
They're a bunch of Thoroughbreds.
dakoose - February 1, 2012

you just have to accept the fact that a.) year 2 and b.) compressed 66 game schedule, this so called hard working, never die, never quit team is just going to mail it in some nights this year, something we would have never thought possible last year.
ronnie brewer is the epitome of this. last 3 games i have seen at least 2-3 plays per game where he doesnt hustle back on D. Thibs needs to realize that he is not Deng and can’t survive 40+ minutes a night

But if we had bosh, bulls win it all last year.
DRoseO1 - February 1, 2012 via Android app
Why can't Chicago get big recruits now?
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
via Free Agency
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
No idea
DRoseO1 - February 1, 2012 via Android app
Sounds JUST like the Vikings to me.
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
I never wanted Boozer
But as everyone is saying, we had no way of getting Bosh.
RogersPark Kris - February 1, 2012
tyson chandler part 2
Osaka - February 1, 2012
right now, i'd trade away Boozer for a roll of toilet paper
so yeah, Bosh
You Must Be Joakim - February 1, 2012
WOW Scal really
MCREW - February 1, 2012
LOL SCAL
shutupdrogba - February 1, 2012
scalabrine is a complete dumbass
ugh
anorexorcist - February 1, 2012
What in the holy hell is Scal doing?
dakoose - February 1, 2012
he started a fast break for the other team LOL
MCREW - February 1, 2012
I know right?
You have to save the white mamba for the last second shot!
RogersPark Kris - February 1, 2012
Let the bench stay in, starters deserve to sit
cowraiser - February 1, 2012
absofuckinlutely
KCinIL - February 1, 2012
fuck that, at least put Rose in
cowraiser - February 1, 2012
No
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
man that turn over hurt
k21c - February 1, 2012
seriously
we had a chance to cut it down and the dumbass blows it
anorexorcist - February 1, 2012
Scal, please report back to the bench
Big illinoize - February 1, 2012
LOL Scal
cowraiser - February 1, 2012
I'll be happy if we lose by 15
That’s how pathetic we have looked today
poker_punker - February 1, 2012
I have confidence in Thibs that they'll figure out a way to crack this team
We’re more talented, and talent wins out. I think Rip will help a bit too, because he can post up some of their guys, and open things up with his movement
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
We ripped them by 30 one game last year
Trey23 - February 1, 2012
You trust Rip to ever being healthy enough to help this team?
And I don’t mean a game here and there.
RogersPark Kris - February 1, 2012
And curl off screens!
Korver has to basically pass our shoot.
DRoseO1 - February 1, 2012 via Android app
How many more years
do we have Boozer?
sue369 - February 1, 2012
30 more yearS!!1
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
5 I think
KCinIL - February 1, 2012
I pray none
bluezman7 - February 1, 2012
3 more
Trey23 - February 1, 2012
3 more years I think unless the Bulls are able to trade him for Dwight Howard
MCREW - February 1, 2012
thanks
sue369 - February 1, 2012
He'll be amnestied as soon as Mirotec is ready for the NBA
bobslob - February 1, 2012
i think this team was due an asswhoopin
this is a compressed roadtrip schedule. This game does not worry me one bit,
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
we have been blown out by atlanta
we lost to miami
we are about to lose to this team.
that doesn’t concern you?
anorexorcist - February 1, 2012
Lost to the Pacers
cowraiser - February 1, 2012
not one bit...
considering how many injuries we have, you should be glad we are 1st place in the east.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
Oh god
we’re never healthy, Not even last year
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
yeah but thosei njuries were worse imo
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
Scal is a "victory" cigar. "victory"
but this is not a victory, so he should sit
Big illinoize - February 1, 2012
Philly victory
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
Oh, maybe I forgot that it was a 2-way cigar
Big illinoize - February 1, 2012
athletes>chemistry
at least now gar almost has to pull the trigger on something before the deadline
pb&j - February 1, 2012
I kinda feel there is a trend in all our losses
all we need to be defeated is a bigger pressure on defense and we are stuck like deers in the headlights
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
Well maybe we needed this
Almost seems like they got too “up” barely beating Miami under-manned. Bring us down to earth and force us to grind it again
KCinIL - February 1, 2012
Cant wait for this from DRose:
dakoose - February 1, 2012
I hope he shuts the fuck up
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
Yup.
dakoose - February 1, 2012
he needs to STFU
ive had enough of his statements. they only pump up the opposing team more. i.e. golden state, miami, etc.
anorexorcist - February 1, 2012
Agreed. Keep it to yourself, man.
cowraiser - February 1, 2012
lol
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
Deng went from being a 18ppg with no impact on the game
To the missing 18ppg peice for the bulls to win games
rick_ross - February 1, 2012
Starters benched. Cool.
cowraiser - February 1, 2012
Iggy STFU its a foul you bitch
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
Its a thirteen point game.
Rose should be in there.
dakoose - February 1, 2012
they have to cut it down to 10
to make it worth it
anorexorcist - February 1, 2012
No , he shouldn't
The guys on the court brought us back, not them
KCinIL - February 1, 2012
This bench unit won't win the game.
They got us back into it. Thank them and then let the MVP win it.
dakoose - February 1, 2012
Not even a given he's gonna do that
Sit em, let em feel embarrassed and come out tomorrow swingin
KCinIL - February 1, 2012
NO. Thibs is finally playing it smart
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
Watson will lead us.
cowraiser - February 1, 2012
Where to?
Quicksand
Trey23 - February 1, 2012
Nobody in this game deserves praise
Nobody
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
I like how Butler, CJ and Taj have played.
dakoose - February 1, 2012
Watson
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
Maybe CJ and Taj
MAYBE
KCinIL - February 1, 2012
You act like
Rose played TERRIBLY
slimshaney13 - February 1, 2012
The team sucked
This game everybody sucked, Time to move on
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
nice find by CJ
ok, i think we still have a shot.
anorexorcist - February 1, 2012
oh shit
here we go
anorexorcist - February 1, 2012

rainman1003 - February 1, 2012
PHI's got 42-26 points in the paint
Big illinoize - February 1, 2012

MCREW - February 1, 2012
UNEXCEPTABLE.
RED_BULL - February 1, 2012

cowraiser - February 1, 2012
They could let that one go
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
stop with the turn overs
k21c - February 1, 2012
how come everytime we're on a run
we commit a TO?
poker_punker - February 1, 2012
Should've been a foul as well
KCinIL - February 1, 2012
Sums up this game: Defensive stop leads to boneheaded turnover
gafferland - February 1, 2012
Cj is a fucken moran
Trey23 - February 1, 2012
This guy
CJs made it reasonable
KCinIL - February 1, 2012
okay now here's your real white flag
john lucas. FUCK.
anorexorcist - February 1, 2012
Thibs making a statement right now.
Not only will he not bring in Rose, he brings in Lucas.
dakoose - February 1, 2012
Or being smart
1 slight chance at victory, versus a rested and healthy Rose.
DRoseO1 - February 1, 2012 via Android app
tried to suggest this the other day...
…and got crucified by homers
fuck it, live to fight another day
whatlittledotheyknow - February 1, 2012
I'll live with whatever CJ is doing.
cowraiser - February 1, 2012
nice pass JL3, dumbshit
You Must Be Joakim - February 1, 2012
JL3: the new surrender flag
Big illinoize - February 1, 2012
Lucas is the worst player the Bulls have had in a long time.
dakoose - February 1, 2012
Not as bad as Pargo
But bad bad bad
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
Pargo can balll
Trey23 - February 1, 2012
Much worse than Pargo.
That guy actually get some buckets. Lucas had one or two games in his career where he was OK. Pargo’s been around forever.
dakoose - February 1, 2012
well KK was doing shit
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
Thibs = troll
Rose1 - February 1, 2012
Jeritroll=Thibs?
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
wow, Thibs may have given up too early. Maybe I’m wrong
k21c - February 1, 2012
I wouldn't want a comeback win by the starters at this point
They don’t deserve it.
cowraiser - February 1, 2012
I’m not talking about the starters, CJ and them were doing welll. He took Korver out and brought in Lucas
k21c - February 1, 2012
Greg Popovich does this all the time
We are playing for the playoffs. This is one game.
DRoseO1 - February 1, 2012 via Android app
I am starting to think Thibs has zero offensive plan.
bluezman7 - February 1, 2012
He should call Phil Jackson.
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
Argee
bluezman7 - February 1, 2012
he does have a plan but hwo can you win if you have brewer as the sg alongside a sf who has no business starting
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
So what is his plan?
bluezman7 - February 1, 2012
Rose ?
bluezman7 - February 1, 2012
idk but seems liek you forgot what rip before he got injured again
the offense was crisp and smooth. It makes a big difference having two starters that have no business starting. Its something thats out of thibs hands.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
plus, multiple turnovers tonight didnt help the bulls
thats not on thibs, thats the players.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
No Deng, No Rip
Brew is a bench guy and so is Kyle for he’s 1 dimensional
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
Well my point is a great coach can over come injuries, and devise a plan to win.
bluezman7 - February 1, 2012
nope, if any coach has their major starters out, they onyl do so much
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
I disagree New England lost half their defense and they play in the super bowl this weekend……why great coach and yes great QB and we have Rose similar to a QB
bluezman7 - February 1, 2012
Basketball and Football is completely different
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
Yeah coaching is still coaching
bluezman7 - February 1, 2012
thats not how it works...
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
wow, are you seriously comparing football to basketball???
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
Also it is great to beat up teams with less talent, we struggle against the heat, pacers, and the 76's, which are good teams.
bluezman7 - February 1, 2012
exactly, i wish people would get that through their head you cant make money outta crap...
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
stacey trying to rationalize this loss
give me a break.
anorexorcist - February 1, 2012
Last hope: Lucas shoots us back into the game.

cowraiser - February 1, 2012
all this losses only make Deng look more underrated
what’s our record without him? 4-3?
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
Meh, like he would have made a difference tonight
Trey23 - February 1, 2012
Iggy never raped him
plus I’m talking overall. Since he left we lost 3 games
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
Doesn't help that him getting hurt coincides with us playing much better teams
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
they didn't look that much better last year (or in the preseason)
I showed you before. Granger never had a game as good as that with Deng on the floor (from 2007 forward) and I bet Iggy never had it too (gonna check tomorrow)
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
yeah, the whole team has been off tonight
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
Butler needs to get playing time. Plain and simple
SAVE FERRIS - February 1, 2012
What is Lucas doing in the league?
dakoose - February 1, 2012
Mike James
Trey23 - February 1, 2012
10x the player Lucas is.
I can’t believe I thought he might be better than CJ.
dakoose - February 1, 2012
Man, I hate Iggy now
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
He's good
cowraiser - February 1, 2012
not as good as he thinks he is

Butler showing something tonight, at least.
dakoose - February 1, 2012
hes gettin Comfortable.
RED_BULL - February 1, 2012
showing that he's better in the paint than Boozer
MCREW - February 1, 2012
Ok I hate Iggy
You gonna flop to Jimmeh’s arm? Really?
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
There you go Jimmy
MCREW - February 1, 2012
that looked like an offensive foul to me
Osaka - February 1, 2012
Sure did
Trey23 - February 1, 2012
Uh oh, Jimmy
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
I like jimmy
Fuck Brewer, that guy is useless. All those guys play timid as fuck.
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
No, Brewer is a pretty good
bench player that’s all.
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
And great against Wade
AI is just a terrible matchup for him tonight
KCinIL - February 1, 2012
You're crazy man
Don’t let the heat of the moment fool you.
KCinIL - February 1, 2012
This is JBJ
It was he does, It’s ALL he does…(Not really but meh)
T.Moore - February 1, 2012

DRoseO1 - February 1, 2012 via Android app
Jimmy with the moves

Lets blow the fucking roof off of MSG tomorrow
Thats my mentality if I’m Derrick after a game like this
Rose1 - February 1, 2012
Should I feel bad that LAVOY ALLEN had more points and field goals than our entire frontcourt?
poker_punker - February 1, 2012
Just texted my friend about that.
WTH
jrobulls - February 1, 2012
LOL
MCREW - February 1, 2012

rick_ross - February 1, 2012
on the plus side, our starters tied their starters, 44-44
Osaka - February 1, 2012
If I was GM and still hadn't amnestied the Booz Cruise,
I would amnesty him tonight and leave him in Philly.
dakoose - February 1, 2012
But he played so well against the Wiz!Q!!@$@$%@#
RogersPark Kris - February 1, 2012
Im beginning to hate that word
Just because it starts with the letter A… I hate the letter A
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
Boozer's scarlet letter
Basketball Smurf - February 1, 2012

Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012

or do we still not know how amnesty works?

I get it, Amnestying cant be used mid-season.
I’m just hating on Booz.

I'll trade deng for iggy
occubull - February 1, 2012
no...
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012

Great effort by the guys on the court right now(minus Lucas) glad the starters got to see that. and as always FUCK CARLOS BOOZER
KCinIL - February 1, 2012
anyone who doesn't want Howard is crazy
no one on this team goes to the rim but Rose
Basketball Smurf - February 1, 2012
It be nice to have another player who can actualy draw a foul too
RogersPark Kris - February 1, 2012
and Deng
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
i agree
occubull - February 1, 2012
No you're wrong.
Almost everyone on our team goes to the rim, and gets dunked on or something.
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
the bulls were horrible tonight. but i can’t stand it when people don’t root for our guys
even if the bulls were to win by getting dwight howard, how could you feel good about it? like they had accomplished something instead of buying something? what makes us different from miami then? screw dwight howard with his superman cape
Osaka - February 1, 2012
you do realize we traded
for Bill Cartwright for Oakley and people said the same thing…then won 3 titles and poof, everyone forgets…This is the NBA, not the NFL, you build through drafts, trades and free agency
ThorCo - February 1, 2012
Dwight resigns and gives his word on it im cool with it (And we find a way to keep Lu)
But if he tries to screw us. we would be worse than Indy
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
Please no burgers for Philiy fans
MCREW - February 1, 2012
Yes a win!

Noah killed Gooden
Evryone here had an orgasmic seizure
Noah is so weak, fact
Trey23 - February 1, 2012
Prisoner of the moment, fact
KCinIL - February 1, 2012
He played well in Miami too
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
Hes still weak
Trey23 - February 1, 2012
Yeah, who want's 10 and 11 outta your C
KCinIL - February 1, 2012
Id like it every game
Trey23 - February 1, 2012
Ha, ok
Even Rose has off nights. Give it a rest. Shit happens
KCinIL - February 1, 2012
Noah got blown by as if he was standing still
MCREW - February 1, 2012
Entire team plays poorly
All everyone wants to bitch about is Boozer
berzerkulous - February 1, 2012
the defenders are out!!!
RogersPark Kris - February 1, 2012
I ain't defending Boozer, just using logic and not being blinded by your personal hatred for a player
berzerkulous - February 1, 2012
Its not personal
Trey23 - February 1, 2012
rofl
Plenty of players are getting ripped today.
RogersPark Kris - February 1, 2012
I give passes sometimes to the people that actually give effort
You really gonna tell me he gave a shit?
KCinIL - February 1, 2012
Boozer wan't into this game at all whatsoever
MCREW - February 1, 2012
when he sucks on offense, he's the worst player in the league.

Boozer sucks.
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
they made us look like 13 tyler hansboroughs coached by an older tyler hansborough
Osaka - February 1, 2012
my ass
tyler jumps for his rebounds
we were worse than that
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
Osaka - February 1, 2012
That must've been a big booger.
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
someone told him there was a fortune if he opened up the cookie
Osaka - February 1, 2012
U dont wanna know.
RED_BULL - February 1, 2012
Nothing happened
NOTHING
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
complete humiliation
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
These are not the droids you are looking for.......
Trey23 - February 1, 2012
lmfao!!!!
damn guys…I thought booz would have a good game
Belize - February 1, 2012 via mobile
we used to be good
then boozer got an arrow in each knee. plus deng got one in the wrist and rip got one in the groin.
Osaka - February 1, 2012
our starters got called for 4 fouls altogether. make it scarier for them, guys
Osaka - February 1, 2012
Ha, I hate excuses, but no Deng and Rip
so I won’t be all upset losing to the Sixers.
cowraiser - February 1, 2012
I will be
Bulls could have one this game with some aggression!
DRoseO1 - February 1, 2012 via Android app
yeah...i agree.
RED_BULL - February 1, 2012
agreed
sue369 - February 1, 2012
Props to Philly
They’ve got one hell of a defense over there. Just a horrid matchup for us.
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
everyone that is good now is an horrible matchup for us
man, we suck
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
i disagree with that
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
Lol, now that I think of it, you may be right
Atlanta, Philly, Miami. Still think we’d fuck up Indiana
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
That's not a coincidence, imo
I still think we would beat Philly, ATL or Indiana in a series
but Miami? no way
Not if we don’t bring something new either a player or a strategy
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
Drose only 3pts in the 2nd half
trig - February 1, 2012
Well he only played one quarter
cowraiser - February 1, 2012
He can't go an entire quarter with 3 points and no assists.
Yeah, I get it, it’s not fair to ask him to do everything, but thats his job for this team when he’s got no Deng or Rip. He didn’t bring it tonight.
dakoose - February 1, 2012
yeah, but u gotta be realistic dude.
look at this road trip!
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
9 game road trip
On top of playing more games than anyone…Seriously brutal…
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
Hm, you're right.
cowraiser - February 1, 2012
Come on man
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
yeah, thats jus being ridiculous
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
He's not robocop dude
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
Come on dude
dsenchi - February 1, 2012
I must say I agree - tho I expect the turf toe story to be called upon tomorrow
Rose was bringing the ball, stopping in the midcourt circle and passing for someone from there. That’s not good
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
Well, considering how even with Rose not being great,
he was still their by far their best player which just goes to show how his teammates didn’t do shit to help out.
At least Rose kept attacking and ddin’t sulk, but it would have been nice for somone else to step up.
Hard to beat elite teams 1 on 5.
RogersPark Kris - February 1, 2012
He sat the fourth
Trey23 - February 1, 2012
We got our asses kicked today
But to be fair, I don’r remember any Bulls game in which there were so many dumb mistakes and the other team caught so many breaks…lead cut to 12, we decided to pressure the PG, easy layup…again, cut to 12, they trapped our PG and have an easy layup on the fastbreak…good D for 23 defense, ball scrambles and a 76er ends up with the ball under the hoop…WTF!!!
poker_punker - February 1, 2012
Hawks game....
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
What happened to hot Boozer?
This kinda sucks. Also, need to do better than 17 TOs
jrobulls - February 1, 2012
He isn't playing a crappy defense and no one is creating to give him easy shots.
RogersPark Kris - February 1, 2012
No more excuses.
Boozer sucks.
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
he missed 5 open shots.
RED_BULL - February 1, 2012
Remember when we brought him here to Draw doubles and create offense for others?
Hah
sin - February 1, 2012
It is very simple
Any team with athletes is going to be very difficult for us to beat. We have one..count it ONE.. player on this team who can create his own shot.
Deng as good as he is, is not a star player- he is a great third option currently trying to play the role of a second option.
We need to take this rare chance to acquire another superstar and trade the FARM for Dwight Howard. Everything else is a losing formula.
D-Cas - February 1, 2012
lol @ deng is not a star
deng is an all star. however, i do agree bout getting howard, but not the whole farm. i would do deng and noah in a heartbeat.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
I think Rip can create his own shot
to an extent…and even in chucker mode, so does CJ.
BTW, am I the only one that thinks we looked at least decent when CJ was at the 2?
poker_punker - February 1, 2012
Congrats to Philly
For putting their BOOTS to our ASSES…(See what I did there?)
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
Lebron is insane
He has 26 points 4 assists, and 4 rebounds at halftime
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012

DRoseO1 - February 1, 2012 via Android app
uhhhh!!!
Yibs - February 1, 2012
And the Heat are now 1st in the east by mere percentage points
Rose1 - February 1, 2012
Well they deserve it.
We sure in the hell don’t at the moment
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
Really not all that surprising of a result
Philly is a team that is being underrated because of their easy schedule, they saw an opportunity to prove how good they are against a top team at their home. They just were more motivated and had more energy tonight.
berzerkulous - February 1, 2012
What I don't get is why weren't the Bulls motivated?
They just lost a few nights ago to the Miami Heat. Are they satisfied by a road win over the Wizards?
cowraiser - February 1, 2012
I can't say if the Bulls weren't motivated, only that I could understand Philly being more motivated

dsenchi - February 1, 2012
Never!
Trey23 - February 1, 2012
This game was a reality check
I pray that’s all it is, but if not…wow.
anorexorcist - February 1, 2012

Lets all breath
Trey23 - February 1, 2012
I agree.
Defense is slacking and what kind of offense are we running out there?
SAVE FERRIS - February 1, 2012
I guess its panic time
ahhh ohh nooo…….
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
Not panicking, here is a quote that tells you the honeymoon is over.
anorexorcist - February 1, 2012
I was sarcastic...
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
our rebounding has definitely not been good this entire year.
Noah was the only one trying to get offensive rebounds.
Slick Ric - February 1, 2012
I agree with tuning Thibs out ………….he lacks any offensive scheme
When you are missing quality players it is up to the coach to have a game plan to bet better teams. Thibs does not have that ability.
bluezman7 - February 1, 2012
no. vinny del negro lacks any offensive scheme.
Osaka - February 1, 2012
Well no kidding and so does Thibs
bluezman7 - February 1, 2012
wow, are you still shittin on thibs
get over it…you cant win with limited players like brewer and korver!
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
You are still missing the point
bluezman7 - February 1, 2012
no im not
i know what a coach can do and not do for a team. Look what happened to the wizards…they had a good coach and yet they sucked balls? why? because he can only have enough impact on a team. Thibs can only do so much with brewer limited scoring abilities and a super one dimensional player like korver,
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
This is a great coach
But not a miracle worker, He’s not out there playing
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
exactly, if oyu wana start bashing thibs
might as well bash phil jackson after how they lsot to the mavs! And Greg Pops!
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
Geo my point is …...
And yes Thbs was out coach last year in the ECF.
bluezman7 - February 1, 2012
you are again missing MY point
in order for the scheme to work, you need certain players that consist of certain skillset.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
effort and hustle have nothing to do with game plan
watch the games. we never ever saw this lack of effort from a thibs coached team before, even undermanned. this is unprecedented.
anorexorcist - February 1, 2012
I'm not worried about effort
I’m worried because this team is clearly limited
and this limit will be a problem if we want to beat Miami.
That said I say a healthy Bulls beat Philly like they did Indiana last season

jimmy must work in his lateral quickness

Depressed enough as it is
Big illinoize - February 1, 2012

I didn't say we'd walk there, nor did I imply it by any means
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012

How’s that not implying it?
KCinIL - February 1, 2012

Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
I have no excuse.
When a player is out others have to step up and they didn’t and we got our asses handed to us.
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
'Stepping up' is nice
but Brewer and Korver aren’t scorers and don’t do for us what Rip and Deng do, period. Expecting them to ‘step up’ to their production is foolish

Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012

RogersPark Kris - February 1, 2012
exactly
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
We played the best defensive team in the league missing two of our 3 most vital offensive players
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
A playoff series is more then one game.
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
Meaning you can't predict a 7 game series based

UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
Your point seems very irrelevant
if that’s true, then why the overreaction? Hint: it’s the BAB way, that’s all
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
How is it irrelevant?
Just because we played them well in one game without those players doesn’t mean we will over and over.
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
Seriously, what are you talking about?
I think you need to re-read my comment and the comment i replied to. I’m talking about THIS game
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
I thought the Heat were the best defensive team in the league.
Therefore I assumed you was referring to the Heat game. Afterall you did comment under a “Heat” comment.
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
I'm saying a lot of the "same issues" that RogersPark Kris was referring to
could be caused by missing certain players and playing an elite defensive team. I’m not saying we don’t have the problems offensively, but we were the best offensive team in the league at one point when the team was damn-near healthy.
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
I could care less about all the other teams in the league and how we played against them.
If we’re not prepared for the Heat we won’t be going to the Finals. But Yeah, I think Deng would’ve helped us get over the hump.
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
My point doesn't have to do with other teams though
I’m saying the flaws that we showed this game won’t be as glaring once we get Deng and Rip back, or even just Deng sing Rip is old and injury prone.
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
*since
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
No we are better than them defensively
Their advantage on offense for the time being overrode ours on defense
dsenchi - February 1, 2012
We had Boozer
cowraiser - February 1, 2012
Boozer isn't as important to our offense as Rose, Rip, and Deng
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012

Has Rip even played in 3 straight games this season?
You can’t count on him being there.
RogersPark Kris - February 1, 2012

Jaina - February 1, 2012
I didn't count on him being there either
but panicking when he’s not is just emotional reaction, not a logical conclusion
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
I don't understand including him then.
because if he is that important than the Bulls are screwed.
RogersPark Kris - February 1, 2012
I disagree
we nearly beat Miami with him playing like shit, and missing Deng still. It’s not like losing him drops us off a cliff, but it definitely hurts.
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
Him playing on 1 leg he says lol
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
seriously
we “nearly beat Miami” last 5 games we played against them. That’s no coincidence
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
When a game comes down to some measley free throws, no matter how hard I try I can't/won't be concerned
and we were missing a starter for that game. Seems like none of you guys are willing to give this team the benefit of the doubt…which I guess is ok.
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
we had the chance to close that game 100 times
but we didn’t. And if we had made that FTs doesn’t mean we would win. They had 4FT after that
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
yeah but those FTs
were a result of us wanting to stop the clock. bulls wouldn’t have taken that course of action if derrick had sunk his.
Jaina - February 1, 2012
and I do give the benefit of the doubt
but I think we should try to reach the playoffs with more than that
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
Well, if you're just looking for the team to improve, I'm behind that
it’s just this apocalyptic talk about us not being able to to make the ECF and that we DEFINITELY won’t beat the Heat based off of this one game that’s annoying.
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
not DEFINITELY but we must try to reduce the MAYBE as much as we can, imo
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
Yeah, I agree there
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
what worries me is that Brew went back to bad-O brewer
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
yeah and thats depending on rose every game
occubull - February 1, 2012
I agree that we will be at the ECF
but those losses to ATL, Philly, Indiana and Miami are no coincidence. The way things are we will reach ECF and lose again
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
I agree
at some point we need to develop a better offensive strategy than riding Derrick Rose to victory like… ahem, getting boozer’s ass in the post and shooting something other than a 20 ft fadeaway
dsenchi - February 1, 2012
how did miami fare against good teams last yr?
we had more wins against good teams than miami did last yr. Wins against good teams dont say much. You can ask the mavs (the champs)!
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
yeah and we swept em, and see where that got us
after this road trip our schedule gets a lot better… we’ll have played 2/3 road games, which means only 1/3 of the second half is road games. if we can stay afloat i’d think we’ll be able to make a good run and hopefully have our guys back in the lineup.
Jaina - February 1, 2012
not the point
the point is we still have to prove that we are any better than last year
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
thats nto how it works dude...this is a low correlation between winning record against good teams
multiple teams in the past have won it all despite their record against good teams.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
that's not what I'm saying
I’m saying that everytime we faced a tough D we lost. I’m not mentioning records
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
This game is not the game to use to try and draw that conclusion, is my argument
you can’t judge a team when they’re not healthy.
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
I'm not talking about this game
I’m talking about a trend of this team. They are paralyzed when the other team matches their defensive efforts
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
i hear ya dude, sorry, i misunderstood you...
but i would give it another couple more games before we can say what the bulsl can do against teams who match our defensive effort. Lets wait till weget back deng at least.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
I'm saying this game can't be used as evidence to back that trend, though
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
Every team in every sport has a team
that can beat them. Tonight their strengths matched our weaknesses. We’re still a good team. A great team? Eh Idk.
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
Good luck to whoever has to deal with that.
m0chab34r - February 1, 2012
man thibs threw watson under the bus
putting in lucas was a total run killer.
not saying the bulls would have come back, but they were on a run and then putting in that midget sealed the deal.
Jaina - February 1, 2012
I think it came down to avoiding injuries
team is jinxed
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
They have not beaten a good team in 2012
At some point you have to do more then just beat up on the garbage teams of the league.
RoooR - February 1, 2012
Clippers
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
2012
cowraiser - February 1, 2012
Wait, did they play Clippers in 2011 or 2012
cowraiser - February 1, 2012
2011.
Jaina - February 1, 2012
that's irrelevant
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
they haven't had a full roster in 2012
when we’re not missing 2 starters, then i’ll be worried
Jaina - February 1, 2012
Every team has injuries
No excuse this season. Have to get it done.
RoooR - February 1, 2012
dependso n the teams ur talking bout
miami? they had a full roster…memphis on the other hand are struggling with randolph out. the bulls have been winning alot with injuries and i honestly think its absurd to think we’ll win games with our MIP and only legit scoring SG out.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
Why? For more wins in the regular season?
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
maybe we never will
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
hope that maybe we'll only be missing one starter then :P
Jaina - February 1, 2012
thibs is pissed at the starters
“honestly if the bench group had gotten us back in the game i would have kept the starters on the bench because the bench players were the ones who got us in there”
but otherwise his comments praising the sixers nonstop and hardly talking about what the bulls did wrong is very scary. i’ve never seen/heard this from thibs before.
anorexorcist - February 1, 2012
what else can he say, lol
its fuckin obvious he sucked. What matters is what he tells the players, not the media.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
What is Rasheed Wallace doing now in days?
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
talking to the lakers and might join them
we might sign joel as hell decide asap between us and miami
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
I bet he's going to miami
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
In Miami he won't have a chance to shine
like he would on the Bulls
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
not sure if serious
here he’s behind Noah, Asik, Boozer and Taj…
In Miami he’s behind Eddy Curry…in the lunch line
ThorCo - February 1, 2012
there is a fanshot about him talking with LAL
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
Jordan dunking on Kendall
Full of LOLZ
Big illinoize - February 1, 2012
I hope we sign someone like CDR while Rip is out
We need someone that can dribble drive. I also prefer mike james over mr trampoline john lucas
trig - February 1, 2012
lol, yeah poor John Lucas is not an NBA player
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
Agree. We waved the wrong one
Big illinoize - February 1, 2012
waived*
Big illinoize - February 1, 2012
Who invented John Lucas?
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
thibs
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
I'm fine with thibs getting players that he trust and knows his system
but make them your practice players or assistant coach. Don’t force them to become NBA players
trig - February 1, 2012
mr trampoline
lol
Prevenge - February 1, 2012
is JR Smith back in the US?
trig - February 1, 2012
Are the troops?
UnBannedVikingholic - February 1, 2012
hopefully the bulls are looking at him
they seem satisfied with the roster though
Basketball Smurf - February 1, 2012
One last thing: IT HAS TO GET FUCKING BETTER, NOW!
that is all..
Big illinoize - February 1, 2012
here's a nice stat
RogersPark Kris - February 1, 2012
how is that nice? I honestly don't get all this people cheering against Boozer
a lot of people here seem to have pleasure in watching him suck
I don’t understand this at all
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
I think you misunderstand
The whole point of bringing up stats like this is showing how much of a displeasure is it to watch him play.
RogersPark Kris - February 1, 2012
yeah, me neither
i guess they feel like they gotta hate someone. it’s a shame. i love our team.
Jaina - February 1, 2012
I'm rec'ing you for that
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
At some point you have to understand that his SUCK is so great it becomes comical.
Protocol - February 1, 2012
Yeah I get that people hate him, understandable at times
But pleasure makes no damn sense
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
say its a "nice" stat, doesn't mean it makes you feel nice
it means its illustrative of a point. In this case, a point many people don’t seem willing to accept. Boozer no-shows against tough opponents.
Basketball Smurf - February 2, 2012
OT: LETS GO BUCKS!!! (KNOCK ON SHITLOAD OF WOOD!!!)
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
Miami might lose!!
cowraiser - February 1, 2012
Jimmy Butler is a player folks
I think I might start him over Brewer’s indecisive ass tomorrow (sorry Ronnie, still like ya, but I like the new guy too)
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
I agree
and he probably has a much better jumper than Brew.
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
Brewer has a horrible jumpshot
cowraiser - February 1, 2012
lmao, at least he has a jumpshot now man
damn, last yr he DIDNT EVEN HAVE A JUMPSHOT!!!
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
....you're right.
I see no reason why Brewer has to start anymore.
Of course, it’s even less likely that Butler will take his spot than it was for brewer to take Bogans’
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
Why? Maybe Thibs sees it
Brew is way more suited as energy guy off the bench
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
Butler will never start for the Bulls.
cowraiser - February 1, 2012
Why?
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
He's a rookie
cowraiser - February 1, 2012
Yeah, but you said "never"
he’s not gonna be a rookie forever
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
Well, maybe next season or if Deng gets traded
cowraiser - February 1, 2012
There's no way Thibs is starting a rookie that isn't 7-feet in my eyes
BUT maybe Butler gets more time with the bench mob, at least
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
Yeah I find it unlikely too, but it's not the worst idea
use him much in the same way that he used Bogans. And if he sucks, you pull him like he pulled Bpgans. And guys like Ronnie and CJ can stay in the roes they’re comfortable in
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
I'd rather start CJ
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
This is probably the best option
but we don’t need CJ to start against Milwaukee
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
I really like trying this out.
I mean, why not? Obviously, Thibs would need to sub Rose/Cj wisely, since Lucas being the back up point is far from an acceptable option, but I think it’s worth a try.
bryield - February 1, 2012
Bucks over Heat by 8, 6:40 to play
Osaka - February 1, 2012
Man, we have to go up to Milwaukee on Saturday
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
Boozer will destroy them
cowraiser - February 1, 2012
hey, it's a home away from home heh
Jaina - February 1, 2012
if the heat lose tonight (KNOCK ON SHITLOAD OF WOOD), i think ill be over this loss.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
Bucks by 10, 5:30 to play
Osaka - February 1, 2012
How do people feel about this trade?
Saukrates - February 1, 2012
nice trade idea
i like it, but i heard htye also want a pick. AHhhhhhh fuck it, lets jsut give them our first round pick too.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
i don't like giving up cj without getting another PG
lucas makes me want to vomit.
Jaina - February 1, 2012
mayo can play point...
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
he could barely play it in the fucking summer league
Jaina - February 1, 2012
Actually, unfortunately...he can't
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
yeah, but he would have to over lucas, lol
i never said he would be a good pg. I know hes a pure sg…
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
BJ for 3333333333!!!!!!!
dp8292 - February 1, 2012
Damn, its over for the Haslem and the Heat

Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012

Just as I said that they go from 16 to 11. DAMNIT!
KCinIL - February 1, 2012
C'mon Bucks make my night.
RED_BULL - February 1, 2012
Miami scored 40 in the first quarter, have scored 27 in the second half
Osaka - February 1, 2012
FUCK YOU CHALMERS!
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
people questioned last year if Rose was better than Wade
there is no question now. Wade is living off his reputation with the refs
Basketball Smurf - February 1, 2012
miserable old man cant do shit without the refs
i hope he suffers the curse of steve francis.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
He really is
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
word
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
I wonder how steep Wade's decline will be.
He’s obviously lost a bit, and I suppose it could get much worse relatively quick.
bryield - February 1, 2012
And Wade looks like the 3rd man this year
Bosh has played better I think (not sure tho because I’m not following every game)
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
i told everyone hes gonna be past his prime after these injuries
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
Bucks by 9, 2:25 to play
Osaka - February 1, 2012
fuck you LeDouche
piece of shit…suck on 7 TOs
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
Luol Deng ain't making the All Star team
Just in case no one figured that out just yet
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
really these games since he's been out should prove why he should
half of the bulls losses have come while he’s been on the bench.
Jaina - February 1, 2012
Agreed
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
Yeah, I don't mean it as a slight on him
just that with guys like Granger putting up 40 on the Woves tonight, and Igoudala clowning the team with the best record, there’s just no way in hell Luol’s :Glue" game is making that team.
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
not saying you were
it was really just a thought going the other way. being out obviously doesn’t help someone’s cause… even though it’s obvious how valuable he is to the bulls.
Jaina - February 1, 2012
Granger 17 and 4
Lu 15 and 7. Lu’s consistant. Granger disappears alot
KCinIL - February 1, 2012
His game isn't flashy enough to make it
Melo and Iggy have SF on lock.
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
Melos got nothin on lock he's been average at best this year
He’ll just get in a reputation. Which is most of em anyway.
KCinIL - February 1, 2012
yeah i mean four celtics were voted in by the coaches last year.
pretty bad shit. wouldn’t be surprised if pierce gets one final nod.
Jaina - February 1, 2012
I wouldn''t go as far
melo is a 13ppg player. I would still give Deng the edge over him
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
I don't know man, Melo should get enough fan votes to put him in
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
yeah, pretty sure you're right
i think at the last returns he still had a sizeable lead.
Jaina - February 1, 2012
my bad
I meant Iggy is a 13ppg
Melo will probably be in
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
deng has been betetr than both iggy and granger actually
he has been more consistent than them. however, this injury def knocks him out of the all star spot.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
thats fine dude...
i want them rested…all of them. I know it means alot to deng but he needs to rest for the 2nd half fof the season.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
Same
I wish Derrick sat out
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
I wish he would be called and played like 4 minutes
just to say he was there
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
what i voted for him 9999999 times
Osaka - February 1, 2012
same here
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
oh and i forgot to comment on what annoyed me endlessly
i guess in philly they have the same douchey promotion about the big macs. at the end when they were at 98 and we had the ball malik rose was all, oh philly will get another shot… and then said, once they had the ball “somebody foul!” like even if he was joking, it was totally retarded. the guy was so annoying and then had the nerve to say that shit it was just absolutely ridiculous.
Jaina - February 1, 2012
Yeah, I've listened to Malik Rose a couple of times, and he's pretty weird
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
I was really annoyed with Iggy
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
Iggy is a jack ass,he can ball
but Still a showoff jackass
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
he kinda looks like lebron james
NO WONDER HES A JACKASS!!!
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
He's a fusion of Lebron and Jay Z
Ew
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
ugh, thats even worse
fusion dance of two dickheads=super jackass
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
Good ol Heat
KCinIL - February 1, 2012
it does always seem
that when we blow it, they blow it too, doesn’t it, lol
Jaina - February 1, 2012
But we didn't even blow a sizeable lead tonight
They were up 13 at half. 17 at end of 1st q.
jrobulls - February 1, 2012
also, their game proved lebron is the same lebron of last yr in the 4th Q
im not afraid of this team.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
But but lebron better than last year....
He’s the same dude that fades in the 4th
T.Moore - February 1, 2012
Dirk has missed his last 14 three point shot attempts
Ouch
RogersPark Kris - February 1, 2012
Miami plays Philly this week
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
and if they lose, what would you say bout miami...considering they are 100 percent in health
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
meh
miami doesn’t take games as seriously as we do
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
idk man, i mean, sure we take the season games more seriouslyl however, the heat really do put in a strong effort
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
the point is one of them will get out of our backs
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
ok, the heat losing just made my night alot better
horrah!
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
Me2.
RED_BULL - February 1, 2012
1rst place still boys!
KCinIL - February 1, 2012
yup, thanks you coach skiles!!!
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
Skiles:No Prob.
RED_BULL - February 1, 2012
that made me laugh lol
MartyMondays - February 1, 2012
Maybe the Bucks will knock the Heat out in the first round for us
Osaka - February 1, 2012
haha
that would be awesome
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
at least we lose to good teams
the cHeat just lose to bad teams. that makes this fun. the bucks are now 2-0 against those clowns right?
anorexorcist - February 1, 2012
Yep.
RED_BULL - February 1, 2012
on the other hand we swept them in the reg season last year...
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
Didn't the Bucks beat Miami this year already?
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
Yup.
The last team to beat Miami before this 5 game winning streak, I believe.
m0chab34r - February 1, 2012
shit, we need to learn shit from... Skiles!
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
Yup
KCinIL - February 1, 2012
They beat them last year too if I'm right
the Bucks to the Heat is the same as the Warriors to the Bulls haha
MartyMondays - February 1, 2012
Agreed.
That made tonight slightly more acceptable.
AerialAssault - February 1, 2012 via mobile
We're gonna rattle off a bunch of games in a row after that wake up call
Rip is gonna rest through the All Star break, and hopefully when he gets back we’ll be firing on all cylinders
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
that prob is the grand scheme for rip this yr
hell be out till after the break and boom!!! asswhoopin time!
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
I'm not worried
Need these games every so often. Props to philly though, they will be a tough out this year.
DRoseO1 - February 1, 2012 via Android app
i'm really disappointed in the way Brewer and Korver are playing
if D Rose doesn’t get them an open shot, its nothing. painful to watch.

Bulls didn’t tonight.

good night of NBA basketball
too bad the Bulls stunk up the joint. btw, it seems like the Clippers are ALWAYS on ESPN.
Basketball Smurf - February 1, 2012
They've taken over the Blazers spot on late night espn

they will leave in the first round of the playoffs tho
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
Uh no
Finals
Trey23 - February 1, 2012

no way
Prevenge - February 1, 2012
Guys
at least we didnt lose twice to the Bucks!!! lol
dp8292 - February 1, 2012
the top 5 eastern teams all have 6 losses
Basketball Smurf - February 1, 2012
yeah
it’s “crazy”
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
the Bulls and Indy have played the most road games
the Heat and Philly have played the most home games. Atl is right in the middle, but more road than home
Basketball Smurf - February 1, 2012
Dallas tied it up
RogersPark Kris - February 1, 2012
I've started to really dislike Danny Granger
When did he become this tough guy, shit talker? If all these other East teams keep turning into clowns, I might have to root for the Heat (but not really)
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
he needs Deng to put him back in his place
JustAnotherFan - February 1, 2012
Westbrook!!!
haters gonna hate
dp8292 - February 1, 2012
March 15th
…is the NBA trading deadline. Sure will be interesting to see what happens. I honestly think the Bulls really need to make some changes. As currently constructed I still feel we fall just short. We need a big splash.
AerialAssault - February 1, 2012 via mobile
like...
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
MELO!!!
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
not really a big splash but more like an addition of a guy who can score from the bench
i think this team needs a 6th man. Sure, we all want howard, but im being realistic…i think this team can def acquire a solid scorer by the trading deadline.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
How do you guys feel about the dual point guard thing?
Like Denver runs. Once the ball is taken out of Derricks hands everything stops. No one else can really safely handle the ball. How about a real facilitator that isn’t crippled like Rip.
AerialAssault - February 1, 2012 via mobile
Clippers are fun to watch
They run the two PG thing also (CP3 and Chauncey). I guess we really couldn’t do that since not many Bulls can really finish well.
AerialAssault - February 1, 2012 via mobile
thing is billups is a combo guard
thats why they can play together.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
CJ looked pretty score-y today, and he often looks that way when he applies himself
I think Thibs and the players need to get in his ear about being more aggressive.
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
CJ looks nice with rose...no doubt bout it, but i feel like we need a player sorta like jason terry
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
And look how that turned out.
AerialAssault - February 1, 2012 via mobile
actually CJ was rollin well with rose
they make a good combo! CJ can score is given enough time and with rose, CJ can def put up like 12-14 ppg.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
So if we end up playing Miami
in the ECF, and they put Lebron on Rose again, why is this year going to be any different?
AerialAssault - February 1, 2012 via mobile
depends on rip and deng
they are absolutely vital to the bulls success this yr. Rip can play but again, we need him healthy and thanksfully the bulls will rest him till the all star break. If we can get rose, rip, and deng combo set, I dont think lebron can afford to guard rose.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
Lebron on Rose, Wade chasing Rip and Battier on Lu, no?
AerialAssault - February 1, 2012 via mobile
Rip can get a shot over Wade
as he’s proven he can block Wade’s shots and frustrate him beyond belief. If major offense is needed put Luol at the 4 and put Cj in at the 2. There’s ways to get past it.
MartyMondays - February 1, 2012
indeed, and battier this yr has looked very...old.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
lol yeah
i think his label as the best defensive specialist is bullshit. I personally think Tony Allen is better.
MartyMondays - February 1, 2012
allen is a beast
i wish we can trade brewer and and a pick for allen…alas, this is not ESPN 2K11
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
Well in that case, lets just Create a Player.
AerialAssault - February 1, 2012 via mobile
we should do Korver, Brewer, and a pick.
For Allen and Mayo. Memphis really needs shooters, that would be so sick.
MartyMondays - February 1, 2012
wow, that trade alone would make this team complete imo
allen can score and defend and mayo can def help rose or subbing in for rip during the 2nd/3rd Q.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
yeah i like it too
too bad we ourselves can’t just hit up memphis and make it happen
MartyMondays - February 1, 2012
i heard their GM hates our organization
idk, i cant find the article but there was an interview where the griz would spurn their trade offers.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
yeah i heard that too
I mean I’m sure if we threw a 1st rounder he would have to do it. Homeboy would never cut us a deal though.
I heard we were offered Beasley for Korver and our Charlotte pick sometime before this season what do you think of that?
MartyMondays - February 1, 2012
really? never heard bout that...
if thats true, damn, that would be a steal. Beasley can score and cna def help rose in crunch time. The prob is having gibson and booz at pf. Out frontcourt would be overcrowded and we would most likely have to give up gibson in order to make room for beasley.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
yeah they were trying to avoid problems with their own front court overcrowding
I don’t hate Booze but it sucks that he kills our flexibility so much. I’d much rather have Beasley play the 4 and have cap space then being locked with Booze for 3 more years.
MartyMondays - February 1, 2012
yeah, what can oyu do, jsut live with booz for another couple of yrs
but i do get the feeling garpax will def make a move by midseason.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
hope so
I’m not in the camp that thinks it’s Dwight or bust. I’d be happy with just a solid playmaker, a guy who can change the game every now and then.
MartyMondays - February 1, 2012
There weren't any ways last year. Just dont feel Rip is gonna be around at the end of this crazy schedule.
AerialAssault - February 1, 2012 via mobile
rip injuries are not bad as they seem
they are nagging injuries, but he just needs to be rested by all star break (kncok on wood).
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
yeah Rip's injuries aren't severe
he just has a small nagging injury. It’s more annoying than worrisome, he should be good to go in the playoffs.
Something people don’t give him credit for is being a legit starter for an nba championship team. Come playoff time Rip isn’t going to be afraid like Rose’s supporting cast last year.
MartyMondays - February 1, 2012
Sorry meant Haslem/ Battier on Deng.
AerialAssault - February 1, 2012 via mobile
Haslem guarding Deng?
Deng would get us a bucket if they tried that lol
MartyMondays - February 1, 2012
I still feel we will come up short
unless we get someone other than derrick that can create off the dribble. I don’t care if he’s a starting 2 or backup 2/3. I just want someone that can provide some spark offensively and actually knows how to dribble and dunk
trig - February 1, 2012
idk Im kinda over this loss already
It sucks but losing to a good team on the road is gonna happen. When we start losing to the same multiple times, and on our own floor, ill be ticked.
dp8292 - February 1, 2012
Only thing that sucks about this loss is that this is the third time we've lost to them in a row
They appear to have our number. Compound that with the fact that we’ve lost to Miami and Indiana in the past week, and yeah, things could be better. otherwise I agree, no biggie
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
yeah, but those fuckers caught us in the right time
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
the last three times?
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
im alluding to the deng injury.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
This thread is longer than the river of tears that is flowing next to my couch
Juiceboxjerry - February 1, 2012
Jeez!
This must be one long thread then, haha.

GARPAX pull the Trigger.
RED_BULL - February 1, 2012
indeed, the ideal 6th man
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
Holy Shnikes
He has been tearing it up over there. Checked your link. He was 14-18 from 3 tonight. And he had another game last month with 43 points.
Man, two scoring threats to go with our D and rebounding? Wow.
What would it take to get JR?
AerialAssault - February 1, 2012 via mobile
hes in china right now and he has expressed interest playing for the bulls before
however, how much $$$ will he demand? Will GarPax go the trade route or wait till Smith returns? At this pt dude, we cant asnwer none of these questions nor speculate.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
i think we are his 1st choice.
multiple times on twitter he kept mentioning he would love to play for chicago. shit he even dyed his hair RED for fucks sake. we need our very own james harden, louis williams, mo williams, etc. and JR looks perfect for that role
shutupdrogba - February 1, 2012
absolutely, he would fuck the heat up
i dont think wade or lebron can keep up with smith. Rose+Smith=rapage!
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
was just looking around the web and saw this post
http://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1157063
hope it’s ok to link to another forum…but if all that shit is true….WOW
shutupdrogba - February 1, 2012
if this is true, imma buy me a smith jersey (custom made) even before he comes here
GETERDONEGARPAX!
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
damn, now i have to find out if this rumor is legit, lol
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
Damnit, don't tease me!!
BlackStar - February 2, 2012
better keep that signature
Geo4MVP - February 2, 2012
Speculation is essentially all blogs are
That and complaining.
AerialAssault - February 1, 2012 via mobile
yeah but to speculate, we need some sort of indication what the FO is planning to do
at this point, i cant read what GarPAx want to do as of right now.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
like right now, i think its quite legit to discuss howard to the bulls rumors.
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
One time, reggie evans inbounded to Billups with about 7 seconds left.....
You know how they roll the ball to conserve time, well, evans just dropped the ball it rolled about 12 inches, and i swear, Billups looked at him and said, “what the fuck, dude”
Trey23 - February 1, 2012
WOW..LOL
RED_BULL - February 1, 2012
rofl!
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
I would take 45 PF ahead of booze
Amir johnson, maxeil, Ivan Johnson, troy murphy, Scal
Trey23 - February 1, 2012
i really like this ivan johnson fellow
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
hes a man, lololo
Trey23 - February 1, 2012
Has any shot been made outside of 2 feet this game?
dp8292 - February 1, 2012
Had to wait until the KU game was over to post my thoughts.
I’ll still continue to harp that I don;t want D12 and that Boozer is good. Honestly, this game changes nothing. They played like crap, sure, but they were also on the road against a very good team, with arguably their second and third best offensive players. Besides, the Heat just lost to a shit team at full health. Everyone needs to calm down.
wrigleyrocker12 - February 1, 2012
whne a team win as many games like the bulls, one loss=PANIC TIME!!!
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
Yeah, that's something I hate about this place.
Yes, this loss made me feel like shit, and yes, it sucked, but man, I don’t see the reason to freak out.
wrigleyrocker12 - February 1, 2012
i hear ya man, but i think alot of the fans here wanted the bulsl to beat a good team like philly
but i think people are forgetting or dont want to use the excuse that the bulsl have crucial injuries. I hope Deng is painfree tomorrow (known on wood) and hopefully that wrist doesnt bother him for the whole season (knock on wood)
Geo4MVP - February 1, 2012
so you came to say you're still wrong
thanks?
your friendly BullsBlogger - February 1, 2012
Boozer is 'good'?
What’s that mean?
Stacey_Is_King - February 1, 2012
