Memphis is doing a great job of clogging the paint, and double/triple teaming when the ball is in the paint. They can do this because, well, the Bulls aren’t really known for outside shooting, and they certainly aren’t moving the ball well, either.
Combine that with horrific defense by the Bulls, and you’ve got yourself a blowout.
this is essentially their 6th game in 7 days, with most on the road. This had bad loss written all over it, even worse without Rose. Welcome to the 2012 NBA.
And he’s shooting fade away jumpers, we pay 70 for a C to provide energy, rebounding, blocks, and just all-out emotion. That’s alot of fuckin money being wasted at this moment in time.
And Deng plays both ways, 40 damn mins PLUS in there in crucial moments, 15-20 points any given day and averaging almost as many boards as are fuckin PF. Smells like your just hating.
I’ve said, even when Deng was playing well, that he doesn’t deserve to be an All Star with the numbers he’s putting up.And i’m not saying he’s bad, just not an All Star. We only have one deserving All Star
…for the Front Office to realize we need to change things around. Without Rose, we are garbage offensively. Even if Rip were healthy and playing today we would still stink. I attribute the lack of defense to weariness. Plus the Grizzlies can’t miss. But we have to get some kind of new blood in here.
If it was a straight up team without Rose they would be OK, like 8th seed worthy. But since they never practice without Rose they don’t know what they’re supposed to do on offense, so it looks worse than it should.
I like him on the bench more..I like our defense getting better throughout the game. That’s why I like Taj off the bench. It fucks with our opponents with them thinking “How the fuck could their D get better when the bench is there?!” Besides. Asik is there too dude
Need Kyle to play big. No way the Bulls lose. They’re so discouraged and out of sorts at this point. I would love to be in the locker room to hear Thibs halftime speech.
SHOULD we ever run plays for noah? Hes at his best when hes trailing rose, tipping in his missed buckets, and finishing strong when rose dishes to him…all of which have not happened this season
This comeback is a real indictment of Boozer/Noah. Not saying Omer/Taj are necessarily better offensively, but how can you dispute that their presence (especially on D) has not been instrumental in this surge? Yes, Boozer is effective at times, but I think it matters where his points are coming from. You don’t need to pay that kind of money for a jump-shooter with shaky defense.
I understand that Gibson isn’t consistent offensively, but he’s ALWAYS there defensvely. Let’s not act like Boozer brings it every day offensively either. He strikes no fear in anybody in the league.. I promise you that. I’m sure he’s a nice guy, but his game pisses me the hell off.
this game is (and should be) a kind of indictment of the Noah/Boozer frontcourt. I’m not sure why they’re not playing well together consistently, but it’s really hard to ignore at this point.
like I said earlier, I am glad Rose sat out and I am happy to give the Grizzlies this game…
Wade is going to be dealing with his injuries all year and the Heat will suffer distinctively for it… Yes, the same could be said of Rose, but his injury is tolerable and not being compounded by other issues.
But it looks like Taj is ready. I’d be fine with amnestying booze or trading him for an overpaid scorer, and keep a 3 big rotation of Asik, Taj, and Noah. With all playing 20 + minutes a game.
hell he was, but its not like this game introduces some new version of taj or some increased growth. Hes a solid player, but hes still just a high floor low cieling guy. Yea, maybe he should start over boozer because he is providing….something….but its not like hes even borderline all-star or anything. hes a great team player, in a sense hes far more valuable as a bench guy than he is a starter. As a bench guy hes one of the best, as a starter hes just solid
because, as great as a guy and team mate he is, that hard hat and lunch pail is for a reason. I mean, the guy wants to start somewhere, he wants his talents to be known, and i think he will leave on his own accord for more pay and a starting gig as opposed to a championship run with the bulls. Thats just my thought. I think if the bulls offer him the starting job or give him a big contract, then he might stay, but i dont see either happening….
This game is the kind of game that proves that we need a second star on this team
When MJ couldn’t play, we knew Scottie Pippen’s gonna take care of business. Who can we depend on to carry the load on this team if Derrick can’t play?
its better if he does, i think brewer and korver (or if defense was that much needed, butler) should have finished the game or played the majority of the 4th, they had fresh legs and the team looked completely different with them on the floor as opposed to a tired deng
1. Is there any doubt now that Derrick Jeffrey Rose is the MVP of the NBA?
2. TAJ >>>>>> BOOZER
3. ASIK >>>>> NOAH
4. CJ >>>>>>>JOHN LUCAS III
5. Butler deserves minutes, I haven’t seen 1 negative play out of him yet.. preseason & regular season.
I thought that CJ was a horrible point guard that ONLY looked for his own shot. Now, I have seen a horribleR point guard that ONLY looked for his own shot. So CJ ain’t that bad after all lol
If this is how Noah is gonna play from now on, I’d be perfectly content never watching him play for the Bulls again. He’s making Ben Wallace in a Bulls uni look like Tim Duncan
Time for defense to take over!
Micdiddy - January 16, 2012
Noah sucks
rsikes - January 16, 2012
Noah (in particular) and Boozer really need to bring it stronger to the rack
These soft-ass layups aren’t doing anything

TAKE LUCAS OUT!
T.Moore - January 16, 2012

k21c - January 16, 2012
That's why we're gonna lose this game
We can’t hold onto the ball, too many empty possessions
yevinorion - January 16, 2012
Swing right swing left jumper
Its called variety Boozer. Use it.
And fuck you Noah.
macjack09 - January 16, 2012
I'll post again here

I get that
I won’t be bitching about the defense if we were allowing 55% or something like that, but 70%??? Come on
poker_punker - January 16, 2012
A bit of luck is keeping the FG% gaudy.

Hehe Some of us expected a trap game against Toronto
We getting a loss here isnt really the most shocking…But still pisses me the fuck off

Getting blown out by a team with Tony Allen on it
is what Hell must feel like
God, I hate him so much
Big illinoize - January 16, 2012
Extended garbage time, anyone???
I wouldn’t mind seeing Butler out there, he needs to get acclimated so that Luol might be able to sit for more than 5 minutes per game.
pnapa99 - January 16, 2012
In a perfect world, yes.
Regardless, why not give Jimmy some playing time. Whole team could use some rest and he could use some experience.
bleigh82 - January 16, 2012
we need scal
MichaelClutchtree - January 16, 2012

he isn’t playing well anyway. let him rest

KCinIL - January 16, 2012
Dude, Boozer's been our best player today
Juiceboxjerry - January 16, 2012

He’s had 3 damn points since the 1rst qrt
KCinIL - January 16, 2012

He does not like Deng.
sue369 - January 16, 2012

KCinIL - January 16, 2012
Boozer is the best player on this team to him
macjack09 - January 16, 2012
That is very incorrect
I don’t even like Boozer all that much, but he’s easily better than he gets credit for. And he was our best player today (for whatever that’s worth)
Juiceboxjerry - January 16, 2012
We're losing by 20 so not much.

KCinIL - January 16, 2012
You mean they guy with a PER of 14, a TS% of 47 and is shooting under 30% from three?
Yes, he really deserves to go the All Star game
Juiceboxjerry - January 16, 2012
Derrick thinks he does but
what does he know.
sue369 - January 16, 2012
Yeah, he's not biased...
Rose doesn’t give a shit, he’d endorse Lucas for the All Star game
Juiceboxjerry - January 16, 2012
I think he does give a shit.
sue369 - January 16, 2012
What's this TS nonsense I keep hearing about?
And Deng plays both ways, 40 damn mins PLUS in there in crucial moments, 15-20 points any given day and averaging almost as many boards as are fuckin PF. Smells like your just hating.

MichaelClutchtree - January 16, 2012
And that is why Taj should be starting!!!!!!!!
Dils - January 16, 2012
Eh No
I like him on the bench more..I like our defense getting better throughout the game. That’s why I like Taj off the bench. It fucks with our opponents with them thinking “How the fuck could their D get better when the bench is there?!” Besides. Asik is there too dude
T.Moore - January 16, 2012
where is that foul???? you kidding me???
rsikes - January 16, 2012
WHAT?!? Clean Asik block
Big illinoize - January 16, 2012
That was a clean block
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
20-6 run...
is that after Boozer and Noah were taken out?
bryield - January 16, 2012
yup yup
… :/
Prevenge - January 16, 2012
Wow... again.
I think this is now a “slight” problem that’s really hard to ignore.
bryield - January 16, 2012
24-8
After Watson came in for JLIII
runningman - January 16, 2012
Cmon clean block BS
MCREW - January 16, 2012
Refs hate Asik
T.Moore - January 16, 2012
ugh wanted taj to mayo on mayo's face
WalmartSecurity - January 16, 2012
...
…
paddyfairview - January 16, 2012
Oh lemme see the replay of that bad call on Omer
AerialAssault - January 16, 2012 via mobile
Asik blocked that dunk!
ChiTownBallz - January 16, 2012
Tired as he looks, Deng still can dunk it right now!
yevinorion - January 16, 2012
CJ rulezzz
Juiceboxjerry - January 16, 2012
ASIK/TAJ/WATSON/DENG/Korver
Muahahhahaha
Man G - January 16, 2012
Rudy is such a frontrunner. lol
Dils - January 16, 2012
CJ save us!!
Big illinoize - January 16, 2012
down to 11 here we go bulls!!!
rsikes - January 16, 2012
CJ ROSE!!!!!!
macjack09 - January 16, 2012
Yah BABYn CJ!
MCREW - January 16, 2012
Rudy Gay.. classic front runner lol
Mighty Healthy - January 16, 2012
Gay's abusing Deng again
Big illinoize - January 16, 2012
That's Gay. No really.
rinconen - January 16, 2012
There's a commercial I want you to see

Big illinoize - January 16, 2012
CJJJJJ Watsonnnnnnnn
AerialAssault - January 16, 2012 via mobile
its not over yet fellas, down 11 to start the 4th.
rsikes - January 16, 2012
Lead cut to 11!!! Hope, much?
Big illinoize - January 16, 2012
If we had Rose in, I'd say this was a win
We can still win, but who’s going to be the one taking the big time shots to win it?
yevinorion - January 16, 2012
CJ
Big illinoize - January 16, 2012
Yes TAJ Fuck you Grizzlies
MCREW - January 16, 2012
Taj needs to start.. i'd be open to cutting Boozer loose
Mighty Healthy - January 16, 2012
Thank you
Dils - January 16, 2012
would it be possible to give Boozer's contract to Taj?
You Must Be Joakim - January 16, 2012
Has he suddenly taken Noah's spot ast the energy guy?
rinconen - January 16, 2012
It sure seems like it...
Mighty Healthy - January 16, 2012
could have done without that Deng mispass though.
rsikes - January 16, 2012
we're winning this shit
You Must Be Joakim - January 16, 2012
jinx
paddyfairview - January 16, 2012
You must be joking...
I’m legitimately afraid Deng is going to die before the game is over.
bryield - January 16, 2012
That comeback was all CJ and Taj.
Taj not a starting PF my ass
Dils - January 16, 2012
Ok seriously
Gibson is a really, really good player.
If he was a starter getting 38 minutes a game, he could be an All-Star.
Micdiddy - January 16, 2012
I don't know about that
But, 15-10 and great defense… FOR SURE.
Mighty Healthy - January 16, 2012
He's one of the best defenders in the league period
Dils - January 16, 2012
Maybe All-Star
was reaching. But taking into account both ends of the court, and the fact that he puts up highlights now and then, it’s a possibility.
Micdiddy - January 16, 2012
What is Taj's wing span? He plays like he has Manute Bol arms.
rinconen - January 16, 2012
7'4
Basketball Smurf - January 16, 2012
good LORD how sweet life is when Boozer's on the bench
WalmartSecurity - January 16, 2012
and Noah.
rsikes - January 16, 2012
It's funny how once Boozer/Noah leave, we improve? EVERY.. GAME
Mighty Healthy - January 16, 2012
Embarrassing
Somethings gotta give. What’s wrong with putting them to the bench and having them dominate the 2’s?
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
what makes you so sure
they would dominate 2’s?
okconnection - January 16, 2012
I'm just assuming
And flat out hoping lol
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
Yup, so true
Wonder how that’s gonna play out later in the season or in the playoffs…
yevinorion - January 16, 2012
We need some 4th quarter magic.
sue369 - January 16, 2012
Such fight. Love it
Need Kyle to play big. No way the Bulls lose. They’re so discouraged and out of sorts at this point. I would love to be in the locker room to hear Thibs halftime speech.
AerialAssault - January 16, 2012 via mobile
*would have loved to have been...*
AerialAssault - January 16, 2012 via mobile
The Bulls finished off that quarter with some thrust.
Asik and Gibson ftw.
okconnection - January 16, 2012
I never really wavered on this, but it is refreshing to once again see first hand how much better CJ is than Lucas
Juiceboxjerry - January 16, 2012
Makes it better when we stop comparing him to Rose and actually look at him vs another backup
yevinorion - January 16, 2012
I used to think CJ dribbled a lot, then I witnessed JL3.
rinconen - January 16, 2012
I thought the exact same thing...
I appreciate CJ much much more now.
Mighty Healthy - January 16, 2012
Yeah, it's go up toward the 3pt line, how many times can I bounce it between my legs?
Thank God CJ is back!
yevinorion - January 16, 2012
Now we just need Korver to get hot again
And Brewer to start hitting like he was in the first few games.
macjack09 - January 16, 2012
Let hard hat lunch pail these Grizzlies
MCREW - January 16, 2012
Do we ever run plays for Noah?
WalmartSecurity - January 16, 2012
we shouldn't.
Mighty Healthy - January 16, 2012
lol...
yevinorion - January 16, 2012
idk maybe some....just Defense i guess.
RED_BULL - January 16, 2012
what would you run for him?
paddyfairview - January 16, 2012
....
SHOULD we ever run plays for noah? Hes at his best when hes trailing rose, tipping in his missed buckets, and finishing strong when rose dishes to him…all of which have not happened this season
piccolomair - January 16, 2012
Nice, Omer!!!
This comeback is a real indictment of Boozer/Noah. Not saying Omer/Taj are necessarily better offensively, but how can you dispute that their presence (especially on D) has not been instrumental in this surge? Yes, Boozer is effective at times, but I think it matters where his points are coming from. You don’t need to pay that kind of money for a jump-shooter with shaky defense.
pnapa99 - January 16, 2012
Asik and Taj
One of the best defensive tandems in the NBA. And we have them on the bench. Hehehehe…Fuck you miami
T.Moore - January 16, 2012
Too fucking good
I hope they go NOWHERE
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
Well win or lose at least we got a game now
Dils - January 16, 2012
Bulls never give up
Miami would roll over by now
T.Moore - January 16, 2012
That's the thing
D is our identity…it’s no secret our offense sucks without Derrick (and Rip), but to play the defense we did in the first half is embarassing
poker_punker - January 16, 2012
I expected this, a Comeback, since Hawks game is easy to believe
Polemic - January 16, 2012 via iPhone app
I want dough thonus'
head for ever suggesting that JL3 could not just REPLACE cj, but was better than him….and basketballsmurf for saying cj sucked….
piccolomair - January 16, 2012
Got ourselves a game now.
Would like to see Omer/Taj in for the rest of the game.
chicity773 - January 16, 2012
Bulls playing FRANTIC D
Big illinoize - January 16, 2012
Let Rose play the 4th Quarter.
RED_BULL - January 16, 2012
Asik!
MCREW - January 16, 2012
Regardless of how this game turns out
it doesn’t make the Noah/Boozer “thing” go away any time soon.
bryield - January 16, 2012
It never will
4th qrt and where are they, the fuckin bench
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
ok ok we get it
now watch
paddyfairview - January 16, 2012
I think we should honestly looks for way to get rid of
Carlos Boozer. This is fucking stupid to pay him this much money to fucking suck.
Man G - January 16, 2012
Sheeeeeeeeeeeek.
rinconen - January 16, 2012
Omer is BEASTING!
yevinorion - January 16, 2012
Korver needs to leave
They have Tony Allen all over him. and what was up with that rebound!?
Mighty Healthy - January 16, 2012
HOW MANY OFFENSIVE REBOUNDS HAVE THEY HAD?
A MILLION?
Micdiddy - January 16, 2012
WOW KORVER NICE TRY AT THE REBOUND
MichaelClutchtree - January 16, 2012
i know right?
Mighty Healthy - January 16, 2012
come on Bulls, theyre missing shots now. Make yours!!
rsikes - January 16, 2012
Gibson getting calls
Big illinoize - January 16, 2012
You gotta box out, Korver!
Can’t let them get the easy offensive rebounds
yevinorion - January 16, 2012
Grizz feeling teh pressure!!!
T.Moore - January 16, 2012
taj make your FT's
rsikes - January 16, 2012
I love Taj's two handed man dribble.
rinconen - January 16, 2012
Brewer's too.
rinconen - January 16, 2012
Taj traveled
poker_punker - January 16, 2012
...his ass off lol
Mighty Healthy - January 16, 2012
He did
oh well, I’ll take the help from refs at this point!
Micdiddy - January 16, 2012
Shhhhhhhh.....
yevinorion - January 16, 2012
Taj and Asik are untouchable
You better amnesty Boozer’s ass before letting one of them walk
Dils - January 16, 2012
agreed
Juiceboxjerry - January 16, 2012
not out of emotion of the moment.
But Bulls organization should really think about this. Its really fucking stupid to pay him this much money.
But the question is will they in all honesty seriously consider it? I doubt it
Man G - January 16, 2012
No they have to
Boozer was a bad signing and it’s obvious Taj should be starting
Dils - January 16, 2012
I agree he's not living up to his contract
But if they amnesty him, FO is paying 100m to replace Boozer with a D-leaguer. And annoying as he can be, Boozer does still have some skills.
Should we trade him? Hell yeah, if we can find someone willing to do that deal. But I doubt other teams are going to want him on that contract either
LimeyBull - January 16, 2012
I should clarify
I’m talking about right now. If it’s a case of choosing between Boozer and Taj/Asik I think you have a point
LimeyBull - January 16, 2012
down to 9.
rsikes - January 16, 2012
missed most of the game what happened to noah's chin?
WalmartSecurity - January 16, 2012
what a BS shot by Gasol.
i hate the Gasols
rsikes - January 16, 2012
what a bailout
Micdiddy - January 16, 2012
Brewer's cutting off passing lanes left and right. Awesome.
rinconen - January 16, 2012
BR3W3R!
rinconen - January 16, 2012
Brewer!!!
Big illinoize - January 16, 2012

pnapa99 - January 16, 2012

rinconen - January 16, 2012
Gasol threw shit up again
T.Moore - January 16, 2012
lets check rose back in

ahaaha
anorexorcist - January 16, 2012

MCREW - January 16, 2012

pnapa99 - January 16, 2012
Taj doing something Boozer hasn't done since Utah!
Mighty Healthy - January 16, 2012
I know
Dils - January 16, 2012
his tough play down low or just "try"?
pnapa99 - January 16, 2012
FUCK
WHERE IS OUR REBOUNDING???
poker_punker - January 16, 2012
Fuck, need a rebound
Juiceboxjerry - January 16, 2012
Omer's a friggin wall
Big illinoize - January 16, 2012
Taj is our starting PF...PERIOD
Dils - January 16, 2012
Tell that to Thibs.
But seriously Gibson makes his case every single game. Never takes a night off like Booz.
Micdiddy - January 16, 2012
He gets himself a consistent post game like that, scores about 13 a game
Then yeah, he should
T.Moore - January 16, 2012
If he got starters mins, I really think he could
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
Hell he was doing that last year starting
and Noah was an All-Star. Boozer is ruining Noah
Dils - January 16, 2012
Not consistently on offense tho he scored about 9 a game I think
T.Moore - January 16, 2012
My issue is more that Noah is basically unplayable at this point
Juiceboxjerry - January 16, 2012
Boozer is ruining him
Dils - January 16, 2012
That is a STRETCH
Juiceboxjerry - January 16, 2012
Nah it's true
Dils - January 16, 2012
If he's gotta worry about his guy PLUS Boozer
I could see that. But I have no idea why he’s shit. Going on a full year now
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
I think it's clear that he only looked good against the Celtics because they're old and slow, and have no one that scores at the rim
Juiceboxjerry - January 16, 2012
Exactly.
Mighty Healthy - January 16, 2012
max contract to a fadeaway 15' shooting PF... GTFOH
Mighty Healthy - January 16, 2012
Taj started the season out
playing subpar ball but has really turned it on. Glad to see it. I’ve always liked him even in his rookie year when many in here made shit of him.
sue369 - January 16, 2012
Do they ever call over the back anymore?
Gasol does it EVERYTIME
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
Out of context maybe but
Shouldn’t Jimmy be instead of Kyle right now? Hope I’m wrong though…
poker_punker - January 16, 2012
After the game "Thib, do you have concern regarding your starters performances?"
No everything is fine we are fine.BS..BS…BS…..and some more BS.
Man G - January 16, 2012
We;re being out rebounded
37>26.
That has nothing to do with Rose, that’s just unexcusable.
Micdiddy - January 16, 2012
Question
Do you give up Boozer or Noah to keep both Gibson and Omer? Or do you keep Boozer and Noah and keep one of Asik/Gibson? If we can’t keep all 4…
okconnection - January 16, 2012
we amnesty rose until the UC stops filling up
then GarPax goes for the next MJ
WalmartSecurity - January 16, 2012
Boozer is the bad fit
Dils - January 16, 2012
I would not be sad to see Boozer go.
sue369 - January 16, 2012
taj gibson dayum!!!

KCinIL - January 16, 2012
Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!
rinconen - January 16, 2012

rsikes - January 16, 2012
Dils? Taj!
Mighty Healthy - January 16, 2012

Dils - January 16, 2012
Damn
Bulls playing great D but not coming up with the ball
runningman - January 16, 2012
We're playing great defense
The balls just aint goin our way
macjack09 - January 16, 2012
We need some serious stops now
can’t keep giving them 2nd chances.
Micdiddy - January 16, 2012
I hate chicago media also for not bringing up short coming of Noah/Boozer more
Man G - January 16, 2012
it's baffling that Boozer doesn't get inspired by Taj/Asik's play
You Must Be Joakim - January 16, 2012
he's got his money already
Chanel#1_Rose - January 16, 2012
Hard Pick on CJ
Big illinoize - January 16, 2012
Okay the way to fix this team is simple:
Trade Noah and Boozer somehow before the deadline, and if you can’t get Howard, get expiring contracts and give asik and taj somewhat large deals!
MichaelClutchtree - January 16, 2012
come on LU
k21c - January 16, 2012
Deng was fouled
ChiTownBallz - January 16, 2012
Taj is ridiculous.

Micdiddy - January 16, 2012
And they call a foul on that?
Gay walkin with a pimp limp, bitch you gave up a 30 point lead.
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
25+ point lead
T.Moore - January 16, 2012
We really gonna argue over a few points?
Thought it was 28 at 1 point
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
Dumb foul by Luol
poker_punker - January 16, 2012
Taj with a big time block- Grizz score anyway
bulls’ hustle is going away
Big illinoize - January 16, 2012
Deng has zero ball handling skill.
Mighty Healthy - January 16, 2012
Fuck rudy gay
T.Moore - January 16, 2012
Lu with the TO and foul
k21c - January 16, 2012
Nice comeback
Sit Deng now
Dils - January 16, 2012
It's been a good effort by the bench
But we’re not going to win this game
yevinorion - January 16, 2012

macjack09 - January 16, 2012

MichaelClutchtree - January 16, 2012
Conley just threw that up
ChiTownBallz - January 16, 2012
Gasol and Conley threw shit up all quarter
T.Moore - January 16, 2012
Did you jus get here?
Thats what they’ve been doin all game.
macjack09 - January 16, 2012
I hate Marc Gasol.

He's seriously the better Gasol
Big illinoize - January 16, 2012
He's the non soft version

MichaelClutchtree - January 16, 2012
Bulls need to play smothering D and stop the lazy passes
might be too late now
Big illinoize - January 16, 2012
Good comeback but if we start taj and Omer we win
ChiTownBallz - January 16, 2012
Don't forget CJ
macjack09 - January 16, 2012
They've owned the O-boards and "luck shots"
Mighty Healthy - January 16, 2012
Yep.
RED_BULL - January 16, 2012
2 points since the first for Booze
And Noah has almost as many TOs and boards. Terrible waste of money
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
Even though the Bulls will lose
this game is (and should be) a kind of indictment of the Noah/Boozer frontcourt. I’m not sure why they’re not playing well together consistently, but it’s really hard to ignore at this point.
bryield - January 16, 2012

Our 1 game losing streak<The Heats 3 game losing streak
I still think we should be #1
Especially since the Heat got a fucking 3 day rest. WTF
macjack09 - January 16, 2012
agreed...
I think we look good at the top…
like I said earlier, I am glad Rose sat out and I am happy to give the Grizzlies this game…
Wade is going to be dealing with his injuries all year and the Heat will suffer distinctively for it… Yes, the same could be said of Rose, but his injury is tolerable and not being compounded by other issues.
Go Bulls…
inkybreath - January 16, 2012
i don't think Asik is ready to be a starter yet
But it looks like Taj is ready. I’d be fine with amnestying booze or trading him for an overpaid scorer, and keep a 3 big rotation of Asik, Taj, and Noah. With all playing 20 + minutes a game.
MartyMondays - January 16, 2012 via mobile
wait until Taj's next 2-5, 6 pt game
I think Taj is in a perfect role for him.
your friendly BullsBlogger - January 16, 2012
yea HE COULD be a starter
hell he was, but its not like this game introduces some new version of taj or some increased growth. Hes a solid player, but hes still just a high floor low cieling guy. Yea, maybe he should start over boozer because he is providing….something….but its not like hes even borderline all-star or anything. hes a great team player, in a sense hes far more valuable as a bench guy than he is a starter. As a bench guy hes one of the best, as a starter hes just solid
piccolomair - January 16, 2012
thats how i see it too
But money wise he strikes me as the type of guy who would take a little pay cut if it meant staying in Chicago and starting.
I’m hoping we can resign both Asik and Taj and it is possible just tricky.
MartyMondays - January 16, 2012 via mobile
i think taj leaves on his own accord
because, as great as a guy and team mate he is, that hard hat and lunch pail is for a reason. I mean, the guy wants to start somewhere, he wants his talents to be known, and i think he will leave on his own accord for more pay and a starting gig as opposed to a championship run with the bulls. Thats just my thought. I think if the bulls offer him the starting job or give him a big contract, then he might stay, but i dont see either happening….
piccolomair - January 16, 2012
so you don't think... lets say 7-8 million a year
And the starting pf spot would make him stay?
MartyMondays - January 16, 2012 via mobile
if the bulls offer him the starting spot, i think he would
but i honestly dont think the bulls will….
piccolomair - January 16, 2012
This 100%
T.Moore - January 16, 2012
Jimmy can be a Deference for this team if he get mins.
RED_BULL - January 16, 2012
Whatever
At least they made it a game at the end, kindof. Taj was beastly. We’d spank these fools with a healthy Rose and Rip
Juiceboxjerry - January 16, 2012
Rip Hamilton is on our team?
rsikes - January 16, 2012
This game is the kind of game that proves that we need a second star on this team
When MJ couldn’t play, we knew Scottie Pippen’s gonna take care of business. Who can we depend on to carry the load on this team if Derrick can’t play?
CowBearsFan - January 16, 2012
Carlos Boozer
Man G - January 16, 2012
Ha, that's funny
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
JImmy is Rose's Scottie Pippen.
RED_BULL - January 16, 2012
no we don't
Without rose were not going to win a championship anyway. The mavs just won with 1 star player.
MartyMondays - January 16, 2012 via mobile
when are they going to call a moving screen on Gasol
k21c - January 16, 2012
Can't believe Deng is still on the floor
Dils - January 16, 2012
For a moment I thought we would win this
I left the room with the Bulls down by 8
comeback and they are down 18
JustAnotherFan - January 16, 2012
I hate rudy gay now fucking front runner
Your cocky as hell now. Can’t beat us at our best and blew a 28 point lead
T.Moore - January 16, 2012
I am at work and can't watch
But what’s going on with the ball movement? I know Derrick’s out, but Luol leads us with 2 assists….
Is CJ really looking healthy or is he basically out.
Ugh.
majoyenrac - January 16, 2012
i think they are all bummed they can't pass to Rose
Basketball Smurf - January 16, 2012
Yeah, this one's funny
bryield - January 16, 2012
CJ looks fine
Probably our best-2nd best player today
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
Booz had a nice start
But not much else
T.Moore - January 16, 2012
Doris Burke....ew
T.Moore - January 16, 2012
bulls loss > fantasies about Doris Burke
You Must Be Joakim - January 16, 2012
If Thibs was smart he'd pull all these guys with a game tomorrow, but no
Juiceboxjerry - January 16, 2012
Doris Burke: much less attractive in college than she is now
CowBearsFan - January 16, 2012
the Start Asik Club

Big illinoize - January 16, 2012
All fucking game for Gay
runningman - January 16, 2012

rsikes - January 16, 2012

KCinIL - January 16, 2012

Protocol - January 16, 2012
Yeah
Its been that kind of day for Gay
macjack09 - January 16, 2012
why is Deng still playing?
Basketball Smurf - January 16, 2012
Deng doesn't know how to sit down
macjack09 - January 16, 2012
I'm really starting to believe it's the 'speed theory'
Or, Thibs is completely insane.
bryield - January 16, 2012
it’s been a gay day
MichaelClutchtree - January 16, 2012
Rudy Gay...Almost as big a front runner as lebitch
T.Moore - January 16, 2012
Cmon Deng DONT GIVE UP LOL!
MCREW - January 16, 2012
i think at this point
its better if he does, i think brewer and korver (or if defense was that much needed, butler) should have finished the game or played the majority of the 4th, they had fresh legs and the team looked completely different with them on the floor as opposed to a tired deng
piccolomair - January 16, 2012
But Deng needs to lead the league in minutes per game played HA
MCREW - January 16, 2012
Rudy a Beast....should be an All Star.
RED_BULL - January 16, 2012
This
Deng can’t carry a team like an all-star. he’s just a role player.
MCREW - January 16, 2012
knee jerk reaction is knee jerk
T.Moore - January 16, 2012
Killing lull deng thibs?
ChiTownBallz - January 16, 2012
SCALABRINE
MichaelClutchtree - January 16, 2012

KCinIL - January 16, 2012
We don't lose often
But when we do, we are destroyed
JustAnotherFan - January 16, 2012
well this is a great way to start my morning
::sigh
anybody seen the decendents?
Belize - January 16, 2012
Can't believe Thibs finally realized this game's over
Option27 - January 16, 2012 via mobile
NEVER surrender Thibs
Just let them die on the battlefield. And then afterwards KC will tell us not to question anything
Juiceboxjerry - January 16, 2012
We'll be lucky if KC tells us anything after this game.
He’s too busy checking out Memphis’ music scene.
bryield - January 16, 2012
LOL
your friendly BullsBlogger - January 16, 2012
Luol played 39 minutes in a 20 point game
This gotta stop sometime…for now, it’s JImmy time!!!
poker_punker - January 16, 2012
Conley and Gay have owned us
Deng is our leading scorer with 20
Big illinoize - January 16, 2012
Noah has 2 points.
rsikes - January 16, 2012
noah's points are what bother me about his game
noah was always a little things in a big way kind of guy….hes not doing the little things right now (injury, endurance, whatever)
piccolomair - January 16, 2012
And more rebounds than our C
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
So glad I didn't dish out money to watch this game live
CowBearsFan - January 16, 2012

KCinIL - January 16, 2012

rsikes - January 16, 2012
No I know
But I think it was early in the 3rd, no?
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
no it was late in the 3rd, when we started our comeback lol.
rsikes - January 16, 2012
As always
KCinIL - January 16, 2012

chicity773 - January 16, 2012

Paid 120-130 mil for this shit? Man
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
Rose better not fucking play tomorow
I don’t care how great that toe is feeling. If Thibs plays him, he’s a moron
Juiceboxjerry - January 16, 2012
it was a massacre on the boards
JustAnotherFan - January 16, 2012
Kyle was off too
T.Moore - January 16, 2012

poker_punker - January 16, 2012

Big illinoize - January 16, 2012

Big illinoize - January 16, 2012

T.Moore - January 16, 2012

Big illinoize - January 16, 2012

T.Moore - January 16, 2012
Look at Scal!
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
DAT BLOCK
SCAL
MichaelClutchtree - January 16, 2012
Jimmy Butler just looks like one of those quiet kids
who plays calm, collective basketball and does whatever Thibs needs in
until that one day…when he just breaks out for 30 and doesn’t stop
WalmartSecurity - January 16, 2012
So... he's, like, a perfect backup for Deng, right?
bryield - January 16, 2012
this was fuckin trrrrrrrrrrble
Belize - January 16, 2012
Turrible*
T.Moore - January 16, 2012
lol, the Mamba strikes
Juiceboxjerry - January 16, 2012
16 outta the 24 second half minutes
Noah and Boozer riding the pine. How is that not an issue?
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
This game was a teaching moment:
Mighty Healthy - January 16, 2012
did you ever thought
Lucas was even slightly equal to CJ??? LOL
Man G - January 16, 2012
before seeing Lucas play
I thought that CJ was a horrible point guard that ONLY looked for his own shot. Now, I have seen a horribleR point guard that ONLY looked for his own shot. So CJ ain’t that bad after all lol
Mighty Healthy - January 16, 2012
No
This game is a “We got our asses kicked moment”
T.Moore - January 16, 2012
I dont think we can trade either noah or boozer at this point
Man G - January 16, 2012
Too expensive & too unproductive
Mighty Healthy - January 16, 2012
I dont think we can trade either noah or boozer at this point
Man G - January 16, 2012
Boozer we need
If this is how Noah is gonna play from now on, I’d be perfectly content never watching him play for the Bulls again. He’s making Ben Wallace in a Bulls uni look like Tim Duncan
Juiceboxjerry - January 16, 2012
Why do we NEED Boozer?
What has he done to make you think he NEEDS to be starting
KCinIL - January 16, 2012
Well, time to find a ledge...
… well not really but Damn!
