Every loose ball and call has gone your way tonight it seems. And if we could have hit a couple more wide open looks we normally make, this game is different. Deng is actually playing better than I’ve ever seen him play before. HIGHLY underrated IMO.
your buddy can’t stick up for himself?? If he’s man enough, I’ll bet him that if the C’s don’t make the playoffs I’ll never come to this blog ever again, even when you guys are playing Miami or the Lakers. WHEN they do, he has to get a permanent ban from here. IF he’s man enough.
ooh so you're a badass now 'cuz you can make a bet online huh?
I say that you guys aren’t making the playoffs because your gm made terrible decisions, and you never had a plan past winning in ’08. now you guys are paying for it.
Thought so. And it’s funny how this Bulls team has yet to win anything with its’ core group of players but you act like you are the defending champions. Are the Bulls a great team?? Yes. Can they play great D?? Yes. Are they still reliant on Derrick Rose too much?? Yes. Does a PG dominated offense ever have success in the playoffs?? No. Be real happy with your REGULAR SEASON win. It won’t mean a damn thing if you can’t win the title.
Rip Hamilton?? Don’t get your hopes up. For Rip Hamilton to be as effective as possible, he needs to have a pass first PG who can get him the ball coming off the screens he runs around. Rose isn’t that style of a PG. If Rose isn’t attacking the rim, it takes away from the Bulls #1 strength. And don’t say something ridiculous either about Rose being some sort of great passer. He’s adequate but he’s a dominant scorer. Rip would be better with someone like Rondo, Nash, D-Will.
As for Deng, as I said earlier, he is HIGHLY underrated. But be honest, do you think he sniffs the same calls or non-calls against someone like Lebron, Melo, Durant in the playoffs that he got away with tonight??
I know more about the Bulls than you do. You can’t even accept the truth about your team, even when I give them some credit. Rip Hamilton isn’t close to the player he was when he was an all-star in Detroit. If you guys talk trash about superstars like PP, Ray, and KG being too old and falling off then what do you think Rip will look like?? Hamilton is already injured. And for someone who relies on his ability to run off multiple picks and screens, that is not a good thing.
I have said nothing against your team. You do not see them for what they are - old and fragile.
We only expect Rip to hit open shots and keep the ball moving. We are not delusional like yourself; we know it’s all about Rose. The thing is…we don’t underestimate him. He’s going to have to lead us, hitting enough difficult shots to draw even more attention. After that, Boozer, Deng, Rip and others will have to hit the easy looks.
Rip will not be playing 30 minutes a game; I’d be suprised if he averages more than 25mpg for the season.
But when you get EVERY call all game, I would hope you can beat us. And every crap shot you threw up went down tonight while we had guys like Ray and PP miss wide open J’s. Wasn’t our night.
Deng…Urlacher- Leader of our defense
Jo…Briggs- Deng’s #2
Brew…Tim Jennings- Solid overall players
Rose…Peppers/Forte- Freak of fucking nature best in his position.shows up when needed, more than 50% of our offense.
Booz…Izzy Idonije…Both not great but solid/ just solid
Remember when the Bulls were always playing from behind a few years ago?
These 20 point leads they can’t hold… those are a big luxury. The other team spends so much energy coming back they have no chance to win. This is a strong team.
and Rose had been playing pretty average until it got close out time and thats just what he did, Rose is truly becoming a great closer. Cant forget about noah, he played his best game in a while.
or whenever they announce it i don’t remember exactly how it works. but we do have the best record in the east right now, so if we don’t lose it he will be.
Oh so Joakim Noah is alive. Good to have him on the team.
Boozer played decent, Brewer and Deng were awesome, Rose was pretty bad for 2 quarters but he gets a pass because he owned that 4th quarter without really breaking a sweat.
Oh, and Rondo is just too much. Maybe instead of learning how to flop, he should have learned how to shoot or learned how to attack the basket with something besides the Eurostep.
when they are on they WIN
when they are off they WIN
when they start with a big deficit they come back and WIN
when they give up a big lead they dont implode they focus more and WIN
this team is just awesome, every situation every game i think and they think we will win.
GO BULLS
Luck of the bounce and whistle tonight...
Every loose ball and call has gone your way tonight it seems. And if we could have hit a couple more wide open looks we normally make, this game is different. Deng is actually playing better than I’ve ever seen him play before. HIGHLY underrated IMO.

I was kidding about being VDN (nobody sucks that much and at least Doc is a leader) but we sure don’t share the same vision about Doc
JustAnotherFan - January 13, 2012
I don't think Doc is a great coach but he's solid. Everyone loves to shit on him and Spoelstra.
But you have to be pretty good at your job to manage all those egos and get them to play at a high level.
Ozzie Montana - January 13, 2012
well, vinny "calls" "plays"
in that the ball is inbounded at some point.
obnoxious american - January 13, 2012
Amen to that
They can’t rebound or play D for shit now…..interesting…=)
KCinIL - January 13, 2012
Oh yeah, Chicago sure tore it up offensively. 88 points!
Ozzie Montana - January 13, 2012
Huh?
I’m talking Bostons D all season….not based on 1 game. And it was more us shooting ourselves in the foot than Bostons D
KCinIL - January 14, 2012
Yall sound foolish
do yall see how old kg and pierce look right now, phil jackson wouldnt get much out of them right now.
Slick Ric - January 13, 2012
Ha please
Don’t compare Phil to Rivers <——THAT sounds foolish
KCinIL - January 14, 2012
Thibs with the statement
Noah and Booz finishing the game
JustAnotherFan - January 13, 2012
he was sick of hearing the questions i think
Matt Hoogland - January 13, 2012
this is the biggest part of it.
both guys played well. look past boozer’s lack of offense, he did an excellent job off the ball and also on pierce defensively.
anorexorcist - January 13, 2012
in fact
with korver asik and taj in we almost blew this game.
we put noah brewer and boozer back in and everything steadied back.
anorexorcist - January 13, 2012
gotta earn the minutes
Brigade17 - January 13, 2012
true
if the starters play like this we have a chance against any team
JustAnotherFan - January 13, 2012
he did good
But as the 2nd highest player I still expect more…still nice game..if he can atleast be this decent we can beat miami
Belize - January 13, 2012 via mobile
if noah plays like this on offense and defense
boozer does his thing in the first half to get us started and doesn’t make any mistakes defensively
then yeah, we are set and we can beat the cHeat.
Just think, without CJ and Rip. Options coming up on Monday.
anorexorcist - January 13, 2012
yep...
Now lets gooo streaaakiiinnn!!!
Belize - January 13, 2012 via mobile
i already watch these games naked, so alright.
obnoxious american - January 13, 2012
lmao
Belize - January 13, 2012 via mobile
boozer with 5 assist and some really nice pass
Man G - January 13, 2012
i love our coach
Belize - January 13, 2012 via mobile
Wow this Boston interviewer is bad.
Wake - January 13, 2012
true
JustAnotherFan - January 13, 2012
Celtics ever lead?
Trey23 - January 13, 2012
Nope.
jrobulls - January 13, 2012
What a game by Deng
JustAnotherFan - January 13, 2012
Remember when the Bulls were always playing from behind a few years ago?
These 20 point leads they can’t hold… those are a big luxury. The other team spends so much energy coming back they have no chance to win. This is a strong team.
Osaka - January 13, 2012
deng has to make the all star team after that game.
obnoxious american - January 13, 2012
Rose thanking God almost as much as Lucas did
Osaka - January 13, 2012
Rose practices insane layups
cowraiser - January 13, 2012
in his sleep,
then he does it during games
ajayflying23 - January 13, 2012
Sarah Kustok is still blushing!!!
MCREW - January 13, 2012
i hope she accepted that dude's offer
that was alpha as fuck
anorexorcist - January 13, 2012
That was great
MCREW - January 13, 2012
yes it was
sue369 - January 13, 2012
Did they say something tonight??
dakoose - January 13, 2012
OMG Sarah!
I luv her….hehe
Trey23 - January 13, 2012
did anyone see that dude
who asked sarah kustok out at the blackhawks game
i would have done the same in his place. god shes so hot
anorexorcist - January 13, 2012
yeaaaaaaaa..... but she has some, um, family -issues-....
Bin Bin - January 13, 2012
oh man, too soon
obnoxious american - January 13, 2012
Thibs is the man...
this was a game of starters and they earned their keep!
inkybreath - January 13, 2012
as always Thibs shows he knows very well what he is doing
he is right so often it’s annoying, lol
JustAnotherFan - January 13, 2012
the bulls are like goldberg in wcw lol
who’s next?!?!?!
rainman1003 - January 13, 2012
lol
T.Moore - January 13, 2012
cant wait to see this next game
love this denver team
sin - January 13, 2012
yeah i'll come back watch the ending
time to hit the gym and celebrate.
anorexorcist - January 13, 2012
hopefully come back to watch them blow another last second game
anorexorcist - January 13, 2012
only can make this night sweeter
Is seeing the heat lose another cloae game tonight
Belize - January 13, 2012 via mobile
it was getting annoying staying up at 12:30 for those idiots
but going to sleep watching them blow game after game was awesome.
anorexorcist - January 13, 2012
they are so much better without melo
chowder - January 13, 2012
And the Bulls still dont have all their offense
CJ and Rip out…
T.Moore - January 13, 2012
And those two mean a lot more to the team than most realize.
Just keep winning, baby
Brigade17 - January 13, 2012
Well cj for sure does (I think he's a top 1-3 backup Pg)
We presume Rip will add a ton but too early just yet
Though on paper his shot making passing and running all over the court should be huge and is totally ignored nationally
majoyenrac - January 13, 2012 via mobile
Brewer has actually been playing some damn good ball in his place.
chowder - January 13, 2012
Yup
Trey23 - January 13, 2012
this is the scary part my friend
jus think, with rip, our offense is soooooooooo fluid. Rose job will be breathing alot mroe easily in the 4th Q with healthy Rip
Geo4MVP - January 13, 2012
deng HAS to make the allstar game, right?
rainman1003 - January 13, 2012
yeah but what's up with the signature?
JustAnotherFan - January 13, 2012
that's deng for ya
too big too fast too strong too good= Too slow, too jerky, too quirky, too Deng!
rainman1003 - January 13, 2012
He should
but having fans vote is just stupid
Brigade17 - January 13, 2012
thats just for the starters
doesnt matter for the bench, all picked by coaches. deng is a total coach’s player
and if thibs gets ASG coach it’s a lock.
anorexorcist - January 13, 2012
I still hate the rule
Brigade17 - January 13, 2012
me too.
should just be who won last year, like baseball.
obnoxious american - January 13, 2012
start voting then
ajayflying23 - January 13, 2012
Spoelstra should be fired, hes a video technician for crying out loud
Trey23 - January 13, 2012
Out of Place
Bin Bin - January 13, 2012
what a game...jus so relieved by this win
proud of my boi noah. Deng doing well tonight as well Rose doign his job. Everyone in the lineup stepped out. Great job by the starters.
Geo4MVP - January 13, 2012
there's got to be something wrong with noah.
his jumping ability is just not there.
obnoxious american - January 13, 2012
his jumping is ok
his timing is a little off but improving
JustAnotherFan - January 13, 2012
i don't know, i saw one instance where there was no one touching him
and he just didn’t get up like we’ve seen him do before. i hope i’m wrong.
obnoxious american - January 13, 2012
I thought he was pogo-Jo tonight
missed some tip-ins he normally hits but otherwise ok
JustAnotherFan - January 13, 2012
he was really good tonight...
Bin Bin - January 13, 2012
We have not played out best ball yet
And we still have the leagues best record. Sky is the limit motherfuckers!
dsenchi - January 13, 2012 via mobile
exactly, jus imagine when rip comes back with CJ
if Noah can do what he does with Booz putting in a solid effort, the bulls are gonna be super dangerous.
Geo4MVP - January 13, 2012
hell yeh
the league better watch out the stampede is coming
G unit Rams - January 13, 2012
No I've gotta focus on winning this one day fantasy basketball thing...it ain't looking too good
Brigade17 - January 13, 2012
Great game by LU
and Rose had been playing pretty average until it got close out time and thats just what he did, Rose is truly becoming a great closer. Cant forget about noah, he played his best game in a while.
Slick Ric - January 13, 2012
I’m so glad he’s getting those reps as a closer..he’s making me not worry anymore
Belize - January 13, 2012 via mobile
WINNIG!

a 1PM game on Monday?
….that fuggin blows!
3ptace - January 13, 2012
always on MLK day.
obnoxious american - January 13, 2012
yeah, we always seem to get memphis
Jaina - January 13, 2012
i thought it was usually the knicks
obnoxious american - January 13, 2012
Why would they play the Knicks on MLK day?
Ozzie Montana - January 13, 2012
what, is that weird or something?
i just thought it usually ended up that way. i remember a lot of early knicks games.
obnoxious american - January 13, 2012
we played the knicks early on xmas last year
but memphis is the one we get on mlk day. guess they want to give the bulls a history lesson lol.
Jaina - January 13, 2012
it must not have been MLK day then
but don’t the bulls and knicks play a weird home and away back to back a lot, where one of the games is at like 11am?
obnoxious american - January 13, 2012
He was killed in Memphis.
You’re thinking of those weird home and homes the Bulls and Knicks would play sometimes. That had no real significance.
Ozzie Montana - January 13, 2012
yeah, those.
obnoxious american - January 13, 2012
I live in Memphis, so don't think I'd miss the chance to see the MVP back here!
I will be chanting “M-V-P” every time he touches the ball
Brigade17 - January 13, 2012
tweetland is impressed
JustAnotherFan - January 13, 2012
CSN asking if Bulls should sign Sheed as our 5th big
what say you, BaB? I say sure, Rip will keep him sane plus we get an enforcer.
anorexorcist - January 13, 2012
absolutely
if anything, it’ll make our team more interesting to watch
rainman1003 - January 13, 2012
yes. we need a crazy enforcer
Xfactor26 - January 13, 2012
I'd love the signing.
He would be great in that role. Tough dude.
Brigade17 - January 13, 2012
yes, sheed is a solid player when it comes playoff time
esp off the bench, he can be helpful on defense.
Geo4MVP - January 13, 2012
Why not?
Who would be better?
runningman - January 13, 2012
theres always leon powe
obnoxious american - January 13, 2012
He's like 6'7
I’d prefer the emergency big man is actually a big man. Someone who could fill in at Center or PF in a pinch.
runningman - January 13, 2012
i know, was screwing around
obnoxious american - January 13, 2012
did power ever had a good game other than those vs LAL?
JustAnotherFan - January 13, 2012
he was pretty good in Boston
I’m not really sure why he’s out of the league when some clearly inferior players still have jobs.
runningman - January 13, 2012
Didn't he have some pretty severe knee injuries?
He’s already undersized, without any lift don’t really see a place for him.
Ozzie Montana - January 13, 2012
unfortunately he's had knee issues since his freshman year in college
he’s a real good person away from basketball, does A LOT for the Oakland community
chowder - January 13, 2012
dennis rodman
stacey king
bill wennington
bill murray
bill daley
Osaka - January 13, 2012

JustAnotherFan - January 13, 2012

windycitywarrior - January 13, 2012

-Derrick Rose is basketball’s most exciting player
Bin Bin - January 13, 2012
GO DENVER!
Xfactor26 - January 13, 2012
Miamis gonna get Tebowed
Chicagoblooz - January 13, 2012
gallinari is reportedly gonna get an extension
hopefully this pumps him up tonight
anorexorcist - January 13, 2012
how the hell the knicks give up a guy like him
plus felton? personally, the knicks got fleeced.
Geo4MVP - January 13, 2012
but they got carmelo!!
obnoxious american - January 13, 2012
bold statement time
within 2 years, gallinari will be > melo.
anorexorcist - January 13, 2012
but, but
ballhog headband thinstache
Osaka - January 13, 2012
lol dumbass sam smith
sad that asik and gibson didn’t play, cracked up thibs with that question
anorexorcist - January 13, 2012
is thibs the allstar coach for the east?
Cause we had the best record last year.
are we SURE we want Deng to be an allstar
gooses - January 13, 2012
it's whoever has the best record at the break
or whenever they announce it i don’t remember exactly how it works. but we do have the best record in the east right now, so if we don’t lose it he will be.
Jaina - January 13, 2012
spo cant get it again
so most likely it will be thibs even if we fall behind the cHeat
anorexorcist - January 13, 2012
oh yeah, good call
Jaina - January 13, 2012
That would be a laugh
Thibs ragging on all the players who play no defense in a game where there’s no defense.
windycitywarrior - January 13, 2012
he will be watching game film and trying to spy in on Wade, Bosh, and LBJ at the break
Brigade17 - January 13, 2012
yet
he will still play deng 40+ minutes
chowder - January 13, 2012
Oh so Joakim Noah is alive. Good to have him on the team.
Boozer played decent, Brewer and Deng were awesome, Rose was pretty bad for 2 quarters but he gets a pass because he owned that 4th quarter without really breaking a sweat.
Oh, and Rondo is just too much. Maybe instead of learning how to flop, he should have learned how to shoot or learned how to attack the basket with something besides the Eurostep.
Ozzie Montana - January 13, 2012
honestly, i hope rondo gets traded off and then he starts to suck nuts in his new team
Geo4MVP - January 13, 2012
Why
Once the big 3 retire he can languish in Boston with nobody decent to pass to. Then people can measure the difference.
windycitywarrior - January 13, 2012
seriously, how does Rondo (fuck him) get so much respect?
Rose Colored Goggles - January 13, 2012
he's a good player
he’s just nowhere near Rose
JustAnotherFan - January 13, 2012
He gets zero respect. After he flopped for that call to end the 1st the refs basically trolled him for the rest of the game.
Ozzie Montana - January 13, 2012
that's true
I was really more referring to media, though now that I think about it even that’s cooled off in the last year or so
Rose Colored Goggles - January 13, 2012
televisions respect and fear him.
obnoxious american - January 13, 2012

Brigade17 - January 13, 2012

In case he did miss that shot…
jrobulls - January 13, 2012

JustAnotherFan - January 13, 2012
that is absolutely sick
thats why the heat are scary

OT (sorry, this is very off topic): should i trade of nash for ty lawson and billups?
Geo4MVP - January 13, 2012
eh, why not
obnoxious american - January 13, 2012
yeah, i was thinkin the same
Geo4MVP - January 13, 2012
it may be a wash.
nash is nash. i like lawson, and who knows chauncy may blow up if he gets enough minutes.
obnoxious american - January 13, 2012
hes been playhin on avg about 32 mins a game
and the man still get it done. Currently, im first place (money league) and look for that big jackpot!
Geo4MVP - January 13, 2012
Isn't that a no-brainer? Nash doesn't really look that great and Phoenix is really struggling to score.
Lawson is a stud and Billups can still rack up 3s and assists.
Ozzie Montana - January 13, 2012
i know, lol
Geo4MVP - January 13, 2012
We need an around the nba thread
windycitywarrior - January 13, 2012

OT: DraftStreet is harder than I thought...
so much luck involved
ajayflying23 - January 13, 2012
especially for one day
Brigade17 - January 13, 2012
you really have to do extreme scouting
and look at matchups and determine past performances of each player (esp this week)
Geo4MVP - January 13, 2012
I had Nash on my team
and they announced after the cutoff that he wasn’t going to play because of a previously unannounced injury.
Oh well

Denver is relentless and I lovovove Nene.
dakoose - January 13, 2012
Can't defend or rebound for shit but he is a BEAST at scoring in the paint.
Ozzie Montana - January 13, 2012
I feel like he's more of a PF than a C,
but you’re right, his rebounding isn’t all that good.
dakoose - January 13, 2012
Lawson barely touched the rim
Xfactor26 - January 13, 2012
bulls are crazy
when they are on they WIN
when they are off they WIN
when they start with a big deficit they come back and WIN
when they give up a big lead they dont implode they focus more and WIN
this team is just awesome, every situation every game i think and they think we will win.
